Nice! Don't worry about it, I am pretty busy these days so not sure when I will next update it. There is no pressure to test but if you do feel like it you can try out the newer versions when they come out and let me know if you find any bugs :)

Ah the most recent version must not be correct. If you join the discord and the beta testers you can download the most recent version :) Sorry about the confusion

Unzip it, go into the executable folder and double click on the CatCompanion.exe

Right click your cat and press the green icon at the top to duplicate it :)

Hey, the cat was made using c++ and opengl, it's essentially a transparent window being drawn over the top of your screen :)

Sounds like a strange bug, you could try pressing f3 for the debug mode and see if there are any invisible windows that the cat is floating on. If not then you could come onto the discord and send some pictures which would help figure out what is going on :)

Yeah the goal is to definitely get it more interactive! I have a beta version on the discord where you can pat the cat, more will be coming later I am just busy currently :)

Hi, yes I believe the issues are related. I have never put anything on the itch page because I have not tried it on a windows 7 device before so I didn't want to assume anything.

If you join the discord I can send you a version without those calls to see if it works however I would be surprised if there wasn't something else in my program that also doesn't work with windows 7.

That is a strange bug. If you join the discord server I would be interested to see exactly what it does and if I have any ideas I will send you a test version to try get it fixed.
