Sorry, I would need to own a Mac/Apple to make the game for it. But I don't own a Mac/Apple.

Yup! I'm uploading some screenshots in case people are looking for the answer in the future:
Racetrack, cave entry to the left of the crashed ship:
Canyon, drop down on the right from the top to get to the cave on the platform:
Right side of the last boss, behind the oasis in the corner the cave entry:
Okay, hm. I can't find much info on this. It seems to be very rare (quote of a dev of a different game "This bug has been experienced by 3 out of 1,261 users")
Some possibilities are apparently:
- Download without Virus scanner active (somebody had problems with Avast antivirus)
- Grahpics card (or other hardware) below Unreal Engine 4 recommendations.
- Here is a comment from a user (for a different game) regarding Avast
Hey wittlief, I was having the same problem as Stormrage using 4.8.2. I am also running Avast. I put the packaged game into a new folder, whitelisted that folder in Avast, and ran the game for the first time and I did not get the error.
For anyone else, open the Avast user interface, go to Settings > General > scroll down till you see Exclusions > then add your folder there.
I've had problems with Avast and UE4 in the past. I also had to add exclusions for the entire engine directory and my projects directory.
Oh wow, I didn't see a notification for this..
I added another hint in 1.0.3 for the mines.
Regarding the speed up, that's the first time I hear that and I have never noticed that.. Is your framerate constant? The vehicles move with physics, so maybe something freaked out on your end there.
Okay, well, there is no reason for me to not say it :p
If you drive on the race track (without starting a race), simply drive to the north. In the middle of that long northern road you can drive up the hill southwards. Then you will find an opening on top of the hill to drive in where you will find it.
Do you have a 64-bit or 32-bit Windows 10? You might get problems running Win64 if you just have 32-bit. If you rightclick your PC and choose properties you can see your system type. Try the game download with the 32-bit version.
Hey! The game uses your default audio output. Its possible that when the game starts your Rift thinks its a VR game and changes the audio output to your Rift. You probably would need to change this manually in the software for your Rift. I found this article here, since I dont own a Rift: https://skarredghost.wordpress.com/2016/09/13/how-to-select-oculus-rift-audio-output-device/
Thanks for the reply. I had a game jam from Fr to Mo so was busy. I will still look into it, but if its really that crazy at some point regardless of anything you could save, restart and load. Which you probably now, but Ill just mention it here.
Wow, that is crazy and shouldn't happen. Thanks for the info! Could you please define "a while" for me? 10, 20, 30 minutes? Garbage collection is something I especially had a look at and combined it with the Autosaving function (the hiccup while saving is garbage collection, not the saving actually).
Hey. Thanks for the comment!
You're right, Longswords don't work and I've not thought about it, which feels pretty weird to me right now. And descontinue is right. Make them swallow explosive barrels, use the blades and a third alternative is one of the secret weapons that can damage sandworms.
The idea with the info tablet is actually very good. But then again, from the people I've seen playing nobody actually read any tablets and most skip dialogue completely, even if it's just one sentence. Sometimes people read a sentence out loud and are confused tho they just read the answer to their problem. I'm struggling a bit right now with making things more clear, it's an interesting experience. v1.0.2 tackles some of those problems.
I was just looking at the dialogue after defeating Gibor and it says "Also try placing them near a locked gate".
I would have thought that hint is enough, since the gate above the arena is the first one that the player sees that has a lock attached. And it's also a new kind of door (different look). This is exactly what I meant with struggling. I could indeed say "Blow up the gate with mines", but wanted the player to think a bit. I'll see if I can think of another solution.
Hey, thanks for playing :)!
It's very interesting to see your thought process live! Makes me rethink about where I would have needed to throw in some information in some way to let the player fully grasp how the mechanics work.
