What about spanking, which is a dimension of its own?  The key seems to me differing approaches.  Even standard porn had basic ass slapping during sex, even before 50 Shades.  It could fall under:

🟡Honorable's Sensationplay, but that also includes things like running ice cubes down her naked skin.  As a "starting" skill, it's more the latter than the former.    Sensationplay also strikes me as more of a Cunning tactic, gradual escalation to get her going with it. Honorable should be along the "daddy" lines (even if the title isn't used), "you spilled your drink in my lap, therefore you deserve to be punished", using a opportunity (only) when it's presented.  Honorable is the art of getting her to agree to it, and being careful not to overdo it; the punishment should fit the "crime".    Unless she asks for it, then by all means, go hard. Combined with the more cerebral Sensationplay or Painplay, the punishments get more creative.

🟢 I suppose for Cunning it would fall under Painplay, but that also includes unrelated things like nipple clamps, ropewalking, and so forth.  I guess it makes sense if it happens in all categories (save that as a Sensitive it's you getting spanked).  Cunning is more cerebral, "You'll like it when I do this because it awakens your primal core and enhances everything else you feel".  Which is why is happens in ordinary porn, that's what they're doing, but with Cunning you can take it farther, but still being careful to not overdo it, because you want her to keep coming back for more.  Cunning has the reactive aspect of Honorable, but also tries to engineer opportunities.

🔵Why does Femdom end up under Cunning?  That sounds more like Sensitive type to me.  Here the player is the one getting spanked, maybe to release his guilt over his pre-game indiscretion?

🔴Many is just "you deserve it, especially when you're a total bitch, and you'll take it when I dish it out."  Spanking could part of Top or Dominant, and would happen then the player feels like it, not needing the girl to provide a leadin.  I'd reverse the order of Top/Dominant, but I've gotten used to the lead/main thing of kpop, so I can live with this.  Yellow and Green are careful to only leave marks that will fade in a day at most; 50-point Manly might leave her not wanting to sit down for the rest of the weekend.  Manly approach will go hard on the submissives (e.g. chess player) because they're submissives, hard on the bitches (feminist, lawyer, and femdom) to break them, but probably go a little easier on the rest, maybe discipline them in front of others to demonstrate Ownership (new/replacement skill?), or make them wear slave collars to work, or similar overt displays.  Maybe replace that ill-defined Cuckquean.  Also maybe swap the point costs of Teasing and Bodywriting?  Teasing seems milder.

Given that this update is over a year old and not likely to be updated anytime soon, $15 is a bit of an ask.  Could you make it "pay what you want" please?  You can go back to charging when you release v.8.* -- if that ever happens.  Which I devoutly hope it does.

They're doing another purge it seems, for content NOT hosted on their site but by the artist in other galleries (i.e. PIXIV) -- PLEASE make sure to have your life's work archived somewhere NOT in the Cloud (aka Someone Else's Computer) and copy relevant data like your subscriber's emails so that if Patreon does pull the rug out from under you w/o warning, you can reconnect with them!

(1 edit)

Kind of risky, as 🅿️🅰️🇹®️3️⃣🅾️🇳 had a massive purge themselves for the same reason not too long ago and never rescinded the policy behind it.  Well you rolls your dice and takes your chances...

Updates (now at 0.1.5) are for subscribers only.  FOMO.  The public version as as good as we out here get.

Another reason to update what's on this platform to something between what's here now (0.1.2) and the current (subscriber) version (~.5); obviously buggy games are not a good selling point, which it what you're trying to accomplish by having it here, right?  If you don't remember the fix, then there's a 50% chance you fixed it on ~.3, if that's the extent you update here, and a 50% chance we all get a better playing experience.  Including potential buyers.

You only have one sub tier, and certainly they deserve the most current and up-to-date.  Not asking for the world here, just maybe one version back from current.  Even two versions back would be 0.1.3, one better than what's up here and getting stale.  It's work already done, you really can't extract any more income from it, so why not update to *.3 or *.4 here?

Second caveat, my playthrough of Fylokon's version is lagging as well; my guide may not incorporate changes Fylokon made, it's moree off of Ker's original.  But it's better than nothing.

I'd posted the link downthread.  Here's what I have:  https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/12XAjvOFi0JSQqB1mmvHZaRzBeaha13Nn?usp=sha...  Bear in mind my guide isn't complete; I missed the vermin raid early on, and I'm behind the current development.  As to where the original I started with came from, it's been years, I don't remember.  But since I searched it up originally, you should be able to as well.

Wolf quest was the 1st thing V. sent me to, and Hizzoner the mayor didn't have anything immediately after freeing Terra...or so it seemed.

EDIT: my eyes got tangled up on the two names starting with S, so it sort of makes sense...but with me missing the vermin job, I had to short my party on equipment.  IIRC my Samantha was stuck with (I'll have to get to my other machine with that playthrough to check)

I somehow completely bypassed the vermin raid!  No wonder I've been chronically short of cash (which was my main complaint with my 1st playthru of Ker's original, back in the day...how easy it was to miss moneymaking opportunities, and then get locked out of them!)

This is why I rewrote someone else's guide, rather than try to play everything out myself.  I don't have time for that.  Because this game has a lot of annoying "gotchas" and, left to my own devices, I miss stuff.

Still in the early stages of playthrough; I can't get the rpgmaker for linux to work on my PCLinuxOS machine, it only works on my Linux Mint install, which I'm only at 1/week!  I'll have some edits for the Chapter 1 playthough, so if you downloaded it, check back in a few days for the updated version!

Found some crocks that existed in Ker's original and haven't been addressed in the Remaster, specifically in the starting equipment.  First off, money is tight, the 1st job is the wolf tails, and that's HIGH DIFF if you happen to do it before you collect Terra!  If the world is going to be "open" enough to let you do certain tasks in any order, they should be doable in any order!  Either that, as is done elsewhere, force the player to Do The Things in the intended order!

Second, WHY is it that a 50gp Bracer (usable by Sarah only, of the initial group) adds exactly as much Defense as a 25gp Small Shield (usable by MC or Sarah)?  Except that the Small Shield adds other benefits as well?!  This is just one example, the whole equipment scheme needs to be audited.  With starting cash as tight as it is, buying the wrong thing(s) can really f--k the player over; the Remaster less generous with starting equipment than the original, Sarah's starting weapon being a short sword instead of a longsword, for example.

Third, I'm a little rusty with RPGMaker key bindings, which differ from, say, your typical (and now more common) Ren'Py game.  I missed a bunch of early screenshot opportunities because I hadn't stumbled back upon the keys to hide text and so forth.  How about a keyboard reference card?

Got some edits to make to the Chapter 1 guide, so check back in a few days for the updated version!

Weird, that's close to (if not older than) what I'm running.  I redownloaded the game and tried again, same result.  Which DE are you using, nargacu?  I'm using Cinnamon.  I don't have my install media handy, so I don't recall the exact version.  "uname -a" comes back with:

Linux himself-HP-Pavilion-All-in-One-24-r0xx 5.15.0-130-generic #140-Ubuntu SMP Wed Dec 18 17:59:53 UTC 2024 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

MC is female.  I don't believe there's a futa option.

When I try to run it under Linux, I get the following error:

./THEg.x86_64: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libm.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.38' not found (required by ./THEg.x86_64)

The highest version of libc my distribution (the latest release of Linux Mint, fully up to date) offers via their repository is 2.35!  Could you possibly recompile this with the slightly older libc version for broader cross-distribution compatibility?

It's kind of aggravating that I'm following (in one save thread) the path to get Hikari to take the spanking and the current version ends before the payoff.  What I really want to know is, did I classify the hunted ghost correctly as a 4C?  Having it come back is a complication I *don't* need!  Anybody else have an opinion or guess?

I've liked what little I've seen (one scene each with Riley+Cassie & the two 2nd-year girls).  I don't see presence or absence as impacting the overall story much either way, not with the greater issues of [what are the companies behind this really trying to accomplish?], [should Our Hero help advance these goals wholeheartedly or sabotage them?], [what do ghosts have to do with anything else?], and of course the cliffhanger regarding some element of Our Hero's past apparently resurfacing.

HH is not abandoned, it just had an update; slow schedule because it's a one man show and real life happens; dev's dad died last year.  But the dev and a lot of his discord mods can be very prickly.  Especially about little things like getting pinged by discord replies and what post is supposed to go where.

Please scale your opening loading% animation to account for us poor souls still stuck with less-than-4k monitors.  Even though I have my normal (Linux) system settings otherwise, your graphic splashes across both of my monitors, which is awkward because my primary is portrait orientation for word prokking and the other is landscape for video  watching and game playing.  I have reasons to not make the landscape one my primary.

GOOD NEWS EVERYBODY -- I have uploaded my rewrite of a guide based on the previous remaster of the game.  Unfortunately I don't remember the original posters, and I apologize for not giving credit where due.  I am including only the 1st 4 chapters, that being how far Fylokon's remaster is.  I'm not nearly that far in the game, so I don't know if everything is exactly as it was, or if certain things were fixed.

Download and comment!  https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/12XAjvOFi0JSQqB1mmvHZaRzBeaha13Nn?usp=sha...

You repeat things you like until you get tired of them.  But you still want to repeat them at least a few times.  Would also be less boring if Ralph could funnel slaves other than Sarah though that little scene.

I don't know why that never occurred to me to try.  Maybe I hadn't discovered the "weapon compatibility check" (Z key iirc)

Other thoughts for the future: there's a Tower (Selam?) that we explore and loot, but also break thru into a hidden dungeon chamber and that sparks a really hot scene.  I hated that it was only a one-shot, any chance that could be made into a repeatable or ongoing thing?

Working like a charm.  This game is just that much better with actual mouse support, which the original lacked IIRC.  SO, starting anew, I recall that I need every bit of help from the girls in combat I can get, including the party healers (Donna and the alchemist girl later).  I know Donna gets the rolling pin from the goblin cook eventually, but it would be nice if she got a weapon sooner, even if is the stereotypical cast iron frying pan, so she doesn't have to wade into combat completely barehanded.

Having 100% abandoned Windows because of Win11 and their non-consensual application of privacy invasion and AI, I'm just wondering -- since RPGM is available for Linux, is there any chance you could generate a native Linux version also?  A Live session using a linux dvd or bootable thumbdrive and the RPGM program on another thumbdrive (or different partition of the same thumbdrive, if you wanted to be fancy) is all you'd really need, if you didn't want to go so far as a permanent Linux install.

I'm a little behind on the Remaster, haven't tried it out fully.  The usual flaw of dual-wielding is that its a hardwired stance, all offense and minimal defense (no shield, minimal armor to maintain mobility; glass cannon).  My issue was that Rhea was all that and slow AF besides!  She needs quickness, even at the expense of everything else.  Active weapon blocks could stop incoming direct weapon shots at her, but be useless against magic, physical area attacks (grenades or grenade-like objects), or flail attacks that could "wrap around" a blade but impact flat against a shield.  She could take a damage (strength-based) penalty for single-handing long swords, maybe deliver 75% of what someone else (Sarah or Ralph) could per hit with the same weapon (for a 150% max damage) because they commit and follow through with their strikes whereas she pulls away quicker to stay in the "flow".  OR instead of longswords, have the Tenta use shorter swords, like the classic poignard, or something like Rikku's "comet" scimitars in FFX, which also does less damage than longswords.

Chess:  "I get my kicks *above* the waistline, sunshine!"

Assuming Windows machine, saves are kept in two places, the saves subdirectory where the game is and in the system/hidden AppData\Roaming\RenPy\NIF* (or something like that) directory.  I switched to Linux a year ago, so it's been a while for me.  Check to see if the different versions landed in different directories (different number strings after the game name)

Current download includes all previous chapters.

I noticed a bunch of bugs & crocks in the original, I'm just wondering if they've been addressed in the Remaster.  I could write a whole essay on Rhea.  Has she been rebalanced, or is she still slower than Terra spellcasting?  Does she still miss at least half of her attacks (effectively making her no better than a single-sword fighter, but with twice the equipment burden!) despite visible stats only 7% worse than Ralph?  Is she still lightly armored, decent but not great HP, unable to use shields, but with no extra evasion or blocking ability (Weapon Block combined with Dual Wield was awesome in Final Fantasy Tactics...you know, three decades ago?)

The magic artifact empowering Our Hero specifically neutralizes Ralph's little wigglers, and the girls are devoted enough to him wherein they won't have anyone else's children (meaning, they use birth control, Angelica being an herbalist, she takes care of that behind the scenes) even if or when he whores them out to other people for income.

I've been following this dev for some time, and I've seen how hung up he can get on certain things.  When it involves something that can cause real world problems (like even being accused of CP) its better to take no chances.

I NEVER SAID "CHILD" AND DON'T YOU DARE PUT THOSE WORDS IN MY MOUTH.  I'm a staunchly against that sort of imagery as you are.  "Loli" to me is child-LIKE but not a child, I'm talking the anime definition here, not the classic Russian novel.  Ashley is petite and flatchested; she doesn't go in for the frilly and girly costuming, which would make the image complete, but 2 out of 3 is good enough for jazz.  If, as you insist, she isn't a loli, she is at the very least loli-adjacent.   I know you had to tweak her design a little to avoid (unfounded) accusations by hysterical puritans with power over on "P", so it is a touchy subject.  But I will not allow myself to be misquoted nor misattributed!

My count of pee scenes:

  1. Kate, jogging.  Avoidable (Peek/Don't peek)
  2. Maria event @beach (no warning?)
  3. Sylvia [slave route] Kitchen, repeatable, avoidable (don't choose from menu)
  4. unnamed streamer in park?  (no warning?  not avoidable?)

Honey Select

Can you say, in even general terms, what the egg showed?  I'm not sure if I've hit it or not.

Also not mentioned:  maid-type characters can be spanked (to a point) for Obedience stat gain while on duty in the kitchen
