I'm running on PC. I forgot to mention, but I managed to solve it by scrolling through older comments on older versions and you mentioned something about Lctrl+Lalt+Lshift+R to delete saves on someone else's post? I did that and it fixed it.

I'd love to play it, but all I'm getting is a black screen
I can't begin a "new game" either as it keeps saying the game will restart when pressing "continue"
but nothing happens, all I hear is the sound of waves? And an entire black screen that lasts indefinitely.

That might explain why i had to delete all my saves?

Oh and I've been using the Itch app.

Just wanted to say, i have absolutely no idea what i did but after re-installing the game and starting it 5 or 6 times, it finally worked

same here, i bought the game yesterday in hopes of playing it today and it says i have only the demo version despite paying for the real thing

really dissapointing

so far no clue on how to fix it.
