Wow thank you for this really thoughtful response! This was our first time working together and it was such a blast trying to pull this off, so your feedback! <3 Some of us would love to expand on this game in the future thanks to everybody's kind encouragement.
(I personally played your game and had so much fun with it, so I really appreciate you taking the time to enjoy ours too! :D I look forward to more games from your team as well <3)
Thanks for playing the game! Hopefully we'll get the chance to improve our puzzles in the future and add more variety. I wanted to let you know that our Audio Producer has posted the soundtrack to their soundcloud if you'd like to take a listen! Its linked within their name (CocoaBeanz) in the game desc
This game had a lot of suspense, and I personally really like this style of graphics, it adds to the creep factor. This game also ran very smoothly for a webgl! Nice work.
While I think you had good intentions with that really long stretch of walking, I personally feel like it was overdone a bit and lost its suspense after a bit. Following the blood trail went on too long and began to feel more like a chore. The flare was a nice break from that. But I think if you had added more, perhaps the sound of snow crunching/footsteps behind you halfway through, or perhaps had some trees with shifty shadows, the player could have stayed a lot more engaged and worried for longer while walking. Though I understand the limits a game jam poses, so those could perhaps be things to think of after the voting.
The aim of the gun was also not exact, my flares kept shooting down and to the right, but I was able to get the hang of it and didnt hinder the gameplay too much. It would've been nice to have some sort of indication that I was actually hitting the enemy, as I was unsure if I'd even hit most of my shots because that too went on a while. But I felt genuine fear and suspense while inside the facility and was met with surprise and disgust (in a good way!) when seeing those gruesome "surprises" you had added.
This game had a really great ambiance to it. Well done creator/s, I would love to see a more fully fledged out version of this game at some point in the future! It was a very intriguing and captivating idea.
Edit: I apologize for it posting my review 3x :') My internet is not the greatest.
This was a phenomenal game. I would totally buy this if i saw this on steam. The game and level design is on point. The throwing was a bit challenging to get used to but once I got passed all the hurdles i found it really satisfying. This is a very well polished game and I cant wait to see more. Congratulations on an incredibly epic game, this is brilliant
A spooky puzzle platformer where you're tethered to a lost lil bunny https://remmiemmyjr.itch.io/were-tethered-together
Ours is a "gentle" horror game. We rely a bit more on suspense and create an unsettling atmosphere with our audio, but no jumpscares or anything. Hope its fun! We would appreciate genuine honest feedback though

This was my first game jam, with a super awesome team of my friends. I hope you enjoy the work we put into this. I like the idea of your game, its an interesting take on the theme!

This was a very well thought out game. These kinds of games are typically not my favorite, ive always found spacey/floating controls to be very difficult, and I was a bit overwhelmed by the amount of controls, but it was actually pretty easy to get used to quickly and I love how they worked. I appreciate you giving us a lot more control in the air, it was actually fun getting all turned around and upside down, and being able to rotate myself back upright. This game almost felt like a personified podcast (in a good way, if thats the analogy i wanna make xD). It was super chill and something I feel like I can enjoy mindlessly to wind down from stress. The recordings were also very fun. Im always happy to listen to "my boy tasty". Maybe if you wanna keep working on this in the future, you could add some up-gradable tools to help aide you in your cleanup job!
I couldnt quite tell why i was dying when running in to the round objects since the enemies were stuck most of my game, and I didnt really see a point in using the dog when it was much easier and safer to use the cats projectiles. But I genuinely feel like that if this game got more polish, this is something I'd see myself playing on my days off. Its very impressive for your first jam! Great work, id love to see more of this.
