He exists xP, to start his route you have to go left and then head back, though he should also appear in other routes, though I haven't played in a while, hope this helps! ^<^

I agree with everyone else, take your time to recover, you're mental state is more important to us than the game and you deserve a rest

If you mean on the first day, you don't die, I'm guessing you went back and chose the other option without following through, the death scenes mentioned happen when you have poor choice of steak, or if you choose wrong in the gym, the third is still a mystery to me
