Okay, so, that was awesome. I had high expectations as I really liked your previous work, but this has managed to not just surpass it, but also to surprise me in many ways I didn't know a horror VN could. And well, surprise covers a lot of things... but I think it's best to describe it that way.

If you happen to read this comment, random user, and you are in for something ~fun~, please give it a try. I sure am happy to have done so!

I found out about the game yesterday and maybe I have played a bit too much :3

I think it does a great job giving you content to think about and work with, with so many characters and things to consider even in this early stage of the story mode. I am getting the characters at a good pace and I am still left thinking on how to get some challenges done, which is a nice experience gameplay-wise.

I am excited to see how it develops, as I can really feel the love put in the game!

Oh wow, that site is amazing in a time like this. I will make sure to let my friends know that it exists.

Hello there!

I have some questions regarding the limits of what is allowed or not for this jam. I know it is a fun and chill project, so I don't expect it to be very exigent, but I still want to do things right.

1. Demos are allowed, but I wonder what counts as a demo for a visual novel. Would it be valid to make one chapter with the "arc" of it mostly finished for a story that would continue later on?

2. Is it okay if, in those chapters in the future (after the jam is finished) the prevalence of these insects is lower/another non insect character takes a lead role? I know it is out of the jam, but I want to make sure the story is allowed to drift away into other topics and it is not considered "treason" to our lovely bugs :P

3. This is a bit less relevant to the topic of the jam, but does Commercial Use apply to free visual novels in itch.io? I know you can always make donations to them, which makes me unsure about the limits of this term.

I think that's all, thank you in advance!

I got a bit late to vote for the jam, but I still wanted to give my feedback ^^

I actually was pretty invested in the concept. Slowly get pieces of information through your own effort is really cool! I have to say, I felt a bit silly sometimes, but I am glad the game doesn't punish you for skipping riddles. I think they are well though out, although a bit hard (the second maze drove me nuts hahaha)

The good ending is very good, as it makes it all make sense, and I think it hurt you a bit that it was not implied in a way people would actively look for it. I mean, I didn't know there was one until I saw comments about it and, without it, the story lacks a proper ending.

I am eager to see what else you got prepared :3

It is always very cool to read the feelings of those whose work pays off.

I was thinking on what feedback I could give that you never received (and I may fail miserably), but I think I got it, a positive one:

I must say, the way the characters are presented made me never have a doubt as to who was who. It may sound silly, but many good stories have me puzzled at the beginning with a barrage of new names, and this one didn't. Sure, they eventually get sorted out, but the first impression can be detrimental if the reader is lost.

Make sure you got the formula for future projects ^^ it has probably helped readers be invested since the very first minute and, when your work gets to the general public, these things count a lot!

Again, congrats and I am eager to read your other projects (I am new to this thing and I am enjoying this jam's stories still :3)

I still have some work I want to see before I fill the form, but, I think I know who will get the goodest boy award almost no matter what. Someone so pure and yet so brave it borders the surreal, although it is actually as surreal as it gets once he gets to the moon...

There are two types of "what the hell happened" in a story, the one that doesn't make sense, and the one where I think I am the one at fault for not understanding. This is the latter, as I really love what you made here and I know there is something I far beyond what my mind went to. I look foward to the final version, I want to understand it all!

I enjoyed the story, and I would love to seewhat you could make with more time and stuff :3 is there any account besides itch.io where you are planning on showing your future works?

That was neat! I would have loved to see a bit more of what happens to Des, he who after all cared about Angus so much. I liked the idea behind the story and I think it was executed thoughtly. I wasn't sure what I was getting into at first (before starting the VN) but my expectations were exceeded ^^ Thanks for showing this story to the world!

I just want to leave a message for those who are probably scrolling past the various VN of the jam, talking a look at what it is about: do not miss out on this one. Even if you think the plot leaves little to the imagination, it really got me and I believe it is one of the best short stories I have seen in a good while. Definetely worth your time.

Well, you made it. You took a topic everyone has at least thought about and played in their minds, and yet you have made it so beautifuly that the sweet jazz song still haunts my head like a reminder of a slow, bittersweet ending. I believe it is executed very well, didn't get boring at any moment, nor I felt I was missing something specific. The visuals are pretty, and the expressions in those eyes got to my soul.

A very beautiful piece of work all around!

I just left a comment on the MAY WOLF section, but I wanted to say a couple things here too, outside of my thoughts on the VN which I believe beling there.

First of all, is there any profile on twitter/bluesky/wherever where I can follow, if any, future VNs  made by the writer/programmer of the team? I think I really align with his work and I would love to watch some future projects.

Also, As a future translator (now that I am done with Uni), I would be happy to translate this story into Spanish if that is okay. Just for fun and practice, as a way to show that I really liked this project ^^

I need to clear my queue to rate this project but, until I do, I have to say I find the experience truly incredible. Sure, some things could be polished, but I could have never been prepared to what happens once they reach the beach. I guess it is just a direct attack on how I work as a person, but I spent the rest of the game hoping to amend what I believed was not fair. And yes, tears dropped. There is a lot of care in the presentation with all these details (the main screen changes, the way endings work, specially the third one, it is all very fluid and I felt truly inmersed the whole time.

I will think of each section of the evaluation once I am given the chance but, right now, I just need to embrace the experience and thank you all as a team for offering it. It truly worked for me and did exactly what I want a visual novel of this type to do to me.

Don't even think about the VN till you are better! <3
