Game jams are not for the weak. I was hoping to get an adequate draft in at least but one day was spent outlining a plot, two days were spent writing 5k words of dialogue. One whole day copying that dialogue into the program script and the last day was spent drawing sprites and backgrounds that I didn't get to finish coloring. I at least wanted a full illustration at the end :') but no dice. The final 3 hours were spent trying to figure out how to get the diggity dang images to show up properly.

Definetly thought I could do it on my own. Ngl I am disappointed I couldn't get all my illustrations in. But, on the other hand, this is the farthest I've ever gotten into making any game! I learned so much, that I feel confident in finishing this project after the jam and even using this method to tell and share so many other stories I've been dying to make. Time was not on my side this time around but it forced me to learn and adapt on the fly, in addition to learning the renpy software to make a complete visual novel! Thank you jamscepticeye 2025!
