OK, just played it through, and I think you are going in the right direction. I like that you use real-looking subjects, including them not being super-skinny. Consider using modeling software for more consistent images, like the Netorase Phone game.

When I see version 1.0, I think that the game is finished. That could just be me, but since you asked for suggestions, I suggest a chapter or 0.x notation.

I like that you take time to develop a story like in chapter 8. A lot of that episode was just introduction to gramps and building the tension. Good stuff
