I'm delighted that you enjoyed it - thank you for the opportunity to participate!

Thank you :)

Okay yes the speed, will definitely have to experiment with that then to see how it feels to move at a higher constant rate.

The sound of going over a node, are you referring to the harsh click noise when you went past the nodes - if so that was a webgl error haha

Yeah this is most prominent in the last level I believe, and you are not alone in your thoughts as other people have pointed out the same issue.
Thanks for your feedback :

The harsh click sound is a WEBGL error I have no idea how to fix haha :)
And yes we will definitely be adjusting some of the levels, most importantly the sword level as you have pointed out.
Thank you sir :)

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback!
We have already received similar criticism, so I believe that you are definitely right in the fact that it can be hard to see and react to what's coming next.
Cheers :)

Ah yes I know what was happening then, will defo fix that!
Thank you once again

You are very welcome! :)

Oh damn I didn't even realise the titles had to be connected together haha, I totally missed that mechanic of the game. Increasing the visibility of that would definitely have helped me understand the game better and yes of course more time would have really allowed this game to flourish :)

Very very nice game.

Found healthy enemies to be a bit boring and tedious, instead of giving them flat more health I would try to make their character "tankier" by say having a chest piece on the front so it can only be hit from the back.

That sort of thing doesn't exactly work here in your game, but I hope you get the idea.

Overall the game was excellent and the bosses were great fun!

Art style and audio are insanely good for a jam game, loved the atmosphere you went for!

Excellent game design and built in tutorial

Minor criticism - I would like 'R' to be a restart button at all times, there are some points where I accidentally mess up and know I therefore won't be able to complete a level but I have to end up using the remaining wire before I can actually restart.

Overall a really solid entry :)

Art style and audio were great! Found the game a little frustrating, as some of it didn't make sense to me.

Frustration for me came from:
- Merging was only in one direction, not both
- Felt a little pointless due to not really much of a goal and the game ending too quickly (I know you probably didn't have time to add higher tier buildings but that would've been nice)

But other than my minor criticisms, I thought that aesthetically this game was one of the best on here, great job!

I think people are seriously going to underrate this!

Took me quite a few goes, but I got it and it was very satisfying.

I like the art style and audio, but I think the games design was what shone throughout, excellent little casual puzzle game.

Only issue I ran into was that I had no moves at one point, and the game wouldn't end, I'm not sure why.

Excellent work!

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback, much appreciated :)
I think I detailed the error in another comment at the bottom somewhere, we realised that if you reach a node without boosting, and then try to boost while still in range - it won't boost. So you have to do it before you actually reach the node while within the range indicator (if that makes sense).
Will try to fix that :)

Thanks! We will experiment with a different input method :)

Thank you kind sir :)
Yes I know what you mean, is what your talking about happening mainly on the last level?

Thank you! I'm glad it was an enjoyable experience for you, and I totally agree with your feedback - will take it into account :)

Really enjoyed the art style and audio.

Wish there were more levels, a greater indication of points of interest - I didn't notice the top left telling me what not to kill until 3 failures, I also didn't see the menu at the bottom very well when I pass the level or fail it.

Also, not sure of the connection to theme - but other than that it was enjoyable :)

Haha I knew it! Yes I did notice the motion blur and the wiggle of the piece as you select it - very nice touches.
Ah yes honestly you are correct - the colours would be the most contributing factor as 9 feels like way too many to start with.
248! Damn everyone is always a beast at there own games :)

5 star everything, I'm amazed at how good this was, seriously amazing entry

5 star everything, I'm amazed at how good this was, seriously amazing entry

Yeah with some more time on our hands we would of added some cool new nodes and maybe even obstacles!
Thank you for the feedback and we are glad to have provided you with an enjoyable experience :)

Cool little game but I'm confused how it relates to theme.

Cool entry :)

Why thank you :)

Very interesting game idea, very innovative.
The menu looked awesome, wish the settings menu worked just so I could slide down the volume down.

I did intend for a bit of tense-release design within the levels, so there's tight bits and then relaxing bits but I agree that each are respectively too long and too short, so appreciate the feedback!
Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed it! :)

Wow! For a game with not the best art (no offence), it's still really fun and quite juicy. I love the concept and the execution of the games design.
I agree with what someone said, an indicator of a nearby ship would be nice as all of a sudden u get barraged with stuff and its quite hard to deal with.

Overall, really great entry - lots of potential, you should be proud :)

Thanks for the feedback! I totally agree with what you are saying as it would remove quite a bit of visual clutter making it a little easier to see what is next :)

Haha thank you so much! We really appreciate it and I'm glad you enjoyed your experience.

Rated by 5? Is that it haha, this game deserves more!

I can't believe you managed to do all this within the time, that's amazing! Some of the game design here was really awesome in my opinion :)

Visuals were awesome too!

Couple things:

1. I don't like the ladder snapping, I feel there should be an interaction button.

2. The movement felt a little odd, I feel maybe adjusting the acceleration or deceleration may work? I'm not entirely sure what it was but it felt a tad off to me.

Overall an amazing entry!

I managed to get 40 which was cool!
I like the concept (even if you don't think it was that innovative) and I think the mechanics execution was great.

I'm assuming you're not an artist so I won't point out the art, as that is programmer art if I've ever seen it :)

I think with simple puzzle concepts like this, satisfaction is really important so visuals and particles and effects would have all really greatly added to the fun of the game.

Lastly, well done! And I would personally say that the game gets too hard too quickly, I think the board either fills up too fast or alternatively it should be 4 in a row instead of 5. I think that's a balancing issue that you could find a few ways to fix :)

Aha thank you!
It could indeed be a WebGL issue, but you have helped me realise that you cannot boost if you have reached the node but are still in range of it then you cannot boost. So you have to boost before you reach the node and while in range. This was not intended and may actually have been what you were experiencing :)
I'm glad you liked the tutorial haha :)

Yes I did realise this when playtesting but I put so much time into dashing that I didn't want to remove it, plus I thought it was a unique movement style I hadn't experimented with before.
I will try and make it better!

Thank you!

Glad to hear it!

Damn the game was really fun actually! Great audio and visuals!

Don't quite understand the use of the gun to be honest it felt a bit useless, unless I missed something.

There was also a bug where I got like stuck on a railing meaning I could get constant points but I could jump off so it's fine. I don't really know what would have caused it but yeah its a jam game its to be expected.

Amazing entry!

Ayy thank you! Finally someone mentioned the in-between level taunts :)

Thanks! Yeah omg leantween saved me soooo hard.
Yes a few people have commented that tbf I suppose it is a bit hard, I'll see what I can do

Thank you! Yes a few of my friends also commented on how it was hard to time it correctly, but yes that shouldn't be too hard of a fix.

Okay cheers!

Your welcome! Thanks for making it!
