Oh okay, it IS due to permission on the folder, thank you so much Kronbits !    I was running as Admin, but  I still needed to give the folder    special authorization.

One quick way to do it is by placing the folder on my Desktop, but if I want to keep it in the ProgramFiles folder, here is how I changed the settings and permission, if anyone has a similar problem in Windows 10:

1   ) Right click the folder: Choose 'Give access to', then    'Advanced Sharing...'

2)  In the Sharing Tab, click on 'Advanced Sharing'.

3)   In the dialog that opens, click on 'Permissions'

4) In the list on the bottom, select 'Allow' for all the three options (Full Control, Change, Read)

5)  Click Apply and OK to return to the previous dialogue. Click Ok on the previous dialogue, to return to the first dialogue.

6) Open the Security tab on the top.

7) Click on 'Advanced'

8)   Now for a user who doesn't have 'Full Control' as their Access parameter, you select them, if necessary select 'Disable Inheritance', so you can edit their parameters,  and then click edit.

9) In the dialogue that opens you check 'Full Control' and normally all other boxes should be checked too.  You can click on 'Show advanced Permissions' to make sure all permissions are checked and enabled.

10) Click OK to confirm.

11) Do that for every user that uses Vecmaker.

12) Click OK. In case the Apply button is highlighted, click 'Apply'.  Then click 'Close'

Hey there!

So I'm trying to do a bit higher res animation with your new Juice FX release.

I think the idea behind the program is really cool, to do very fast animation, however   I encountered a few issues, mostly related to high res animation.

In most of the examples I use a rocket image created with VecMaker:

Alpha channel not supported for many effects:

The half transparent parts of the image dissappear when I use  Chromatic aberration or other effects.

For other effects the opacity is completely on, like here for example:

Then when I set a bigger canvas size, some movements and positions aren't right anymore.

When I use 'Electricity' for example, the copy of the image appears below the original image:

The Jumping and Landing for example gets skewed up weirdly for higher res images:

The Explode preset doesn't work on higher res images.

The game starts freezing until I need to eventually force close it.

Obviously I have no clue how much time you have and how worthwhile it would be for you to look into these bugs, but since as a starting point I  think it's a really cool software I'd be glad to see it advance .

Ok cool! Sure, you're welcome!

I would know a way you could do it in gimp for free, it would take about one minute.
You import all the images into the same file as different layers. You resize the  image by clicking 'Crop to content' (important: not by scaling!). You have the 'Layer export' extension module installed as well with gimp, so then you export the layers with gimp with the new size, which is perfectly cut to the borders of your frames (and all frames have the same size, so you can  animate them easily).

Hi there!

I recently bought your Vecmaker!

I cannot add shapes or new galleries to the software.

Why could that be?

Hey there!

There is a bug when you right click a parameter, don't enter a value, and then click on cancel.

I get this message everytime:
