Same here, did you check whether you have the Game Jam version installed? Because if you do, I found that you couldn't cook on that one- try the normal one (like for me, I just downloaded the Window.zip and it's working perfectly!) Hope it helps! And sorry that I'm replying a year late lol-

I don't know if this is exactly what you're looking for- but there is always the online version of the game that doesn't get as many updates so it's probably a bit behind... but I think you can go into the save files and change the version? I'd suggest asking in the Discord if you have it (They have a whole team there- and a few channels dedicated to helping with questions :3 )! I hope this helped- if not- sorry! /gen

Amazing game! Though, at the end, I was in tears....

I don't quite know is you need any suggestions, but if you do: here's some! It would be amazing if players were able to edit relationship statuses, family and age, like for example, on the personal button when you click it, theres an "age" button, where you can edit the age. Same thing with family and relationships, except there could be an "edit" button in the corner somewhere. So that way, when you click the edit button, you can change who their parents and siblings are, as well as change who they like and dislike, and by how much! 

These are just suggestions, I'm absolutely in love with this game, and I'm so grateful for all the hard work that has gone into it!
