Hmm, can't say I know what's wrong with that build then, sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for the feedback and for playing!

I could tell! Awesome work

Really awesome game feel, everything moving in lock-step with you really helps keep things moving and almost rhythmic in nature.

Here's my game! I have a Mac build but I have not been able to test it myself so it *should* work okay:

I do, it's up now. It is untested as I don't have a Mac but it *should* work.

Oh whoops, one sec.

Gave your game a play, it's really cute and well put together!

Here's mine if you want to give it a go:

Awesome job! Game felt real nice to play, is super polished and engaging. One note would be to maybe outline or change the colour of the enemies a bit, as there were a few times where I couldn't see an enemy standing on a skeleton until after they attacked me.

Amazing polished with great overall game feel - this is a real gem. Awesome work!

Really liked this one! There are a couple of interesting physics interactions at time, but overall very enjoyable.

Hey here's my game: https://itch.io/jam/miz-jam-1/rate/736449

I'll play each of yours as well!

I have updated the controls so you can now play with a keyboard and mouse, sorry again for not including it in the initial build, updating the controls took like 10 minutes so I'm dumb for not including it in the base game - hope you enjoy it!

Really cool concept! Liked the action of moving+shooting bound to the same input, forces the player to think about their moves.

I like the idea! Puzzles were interesting to solve, the text unfortunately is quite hard to read unfortunately, but was still able to complete it with a bit of trial and error with the text.

Good work!

This is really well put together! There was this weird bug on the browser version that crashed it but other than that super polished, felt good to play. The controls felt a little cramped for me, but I'm guessing that's a byproduct of including single keyboard co-op. Lots of room for expansion, and one suggestion from me would to maybe have the food always re-spawn so you have a choice of all available food, as having the needed food spawn just before the targets spawned made it a bit predictable.

Awesome work and keep it up!

Overall a really great game! It was super engaging and there was a good amount of feedback from destroying the targets, and the map-work was really well done! Can see how this could be expanded to have different destruction targets or maybe an objective where time is against you.

Really like the idea! One suggestion I would make would be to move out the camera a bit to let the player see more of their surroundings to help them asses their movements and make more calculated moves.

If you feel up for it, have a look at my game: https://itch.io/jam/miz-jam-1/rate/736449

Please note that a Gamepad/Controller is required to play.

Yeah, I kind of tunnel visioned on the arcade control aspect for the game so I didn't add keyboard input - it is something I would look to add in the future in hindsight.

Here's my game if you want to give it a rate, I will be rating yours as well (typing to hit up all the unrated/low rated games currently)

I hope you enjoy! You will need a controller to play just as a heads up.

Interesting idea! I would recommend adding music and sound effects in the future, and look for some blind spots on the enemy placement, I found 2 levels where I could just stand with the shield in a single spot to block all incoming attacks.

Interesting idea! I like the environments and the idea for two attacks (left and right button) works well. I would suggest maybe allowing the player to have more nimble movement as the enemies are quite hard to evade reliably.

Interesting idea! I liked that the player had to collect resources to build defenses, I would make sure to add in a way to tell how damaged enemies or obstacles are to help guide the player's actions, and maybe some sounds or music for player feedback.

Interesting concept! I liked the 3D assets from the 2D spritesheet, I did find the UI a bit confusing and I wasn't sure some of my attacks were connecting, maybe adding some visual feedback to when an attack lands might help.

Yeah same, looks like only the exe is here, the dll and other essential files are missing.

Really fun! Liked the different guns available to the player, I got a bit stuck after finding the machine-laser but managed to find the boss afterwards. One thing I would note is the once the enemies see you they tend to keep firing, and there was some weirdness with one room the enemies firing at me through the wall, but overall very good!

Good concept! Found the controls difficult at the start, got a bit better once played for a few minutes.

Really liked the premise! Excellent execution on the trade system between NPCs. I feel I missed things as the map was fairly large and I got to the ending without exploring everything. Thanks for the great game!

I like the idea! Well thought out and put together, a few things of note would be maybe using the assets with transparent backgrounds for the flags and other items to prevent the player from disappearing under them, and maybe a smoother camera for the dash. I liked the minigames that happened when you were caught, but I would try to make them a bit more balanced, the coin flip and the card game were good, but I found myself groaning if I got the dice one, as it's the one most in the enemies' favor. Overall very good!

Thank you for the feedback! I'll be making some changes if I work on it again (notably adding non-controller input, I kind of tunnel-visioned on the arcade controls and feel), but some of your suggestions are great ideas and I would love to expand on it. Thank you for playing!

Thank you for the feedback! I will be making some adjustments on the game page that it's controller only at the moment.  I'm glad the feeling of being a boss/powerful Lich came through well! I had some ideas on how to expand it, by adding differing attacks or offering power-ups, and if I decided to work on it more it's definitely something I would want to add to break the repetitiveness of it. Thank you for playing!

Thank you for the comment! I realize now in hindsight I should have added non-controller input or made it a bit clearer a controller is needed. I am glad you enjoyed it!

Yes sorry, I designed it with only a gamepad in mind.
