one more question:

When you say the note is "...", the "..." is supposed to be a button. Nothing happens when you press that? Also in the very top right corner you see the words "DEV". Does anything happen you press that? Thank you!

Hi,

Dang, haven’t seen that bug before. So sorry about that! Can you email me at mike at zotnip.com? I’ll try sending you a different build! If we can’t fix it I’ll send you a refund.

Thank you!

Thanks so much for playing and the kind write up! Just to let you know, you were playing Alpha 0162. and we're now up to "Early Access 02" which adds all new FPS graphics and more FPS mini game types, as well as a lot of other changes since Alpha 0162. Check it out! Thanks again for playing!

There is a bug in this version with the level builder where rooms will be inaccessible. I'm working on a fix and hopefully will be ready soon!

Thank you!

Thank you for the detailed comments! This is exactly what I'm looking for at this stage of development!

Thank you! I'm super happy that the game seems to be expressing exactly what I intended for you!

I'm working on the revamped asteroid section now. Hopefully I'll have that ready sometime this week and I'll upload a new build with it (and a bunch of other fixes/adjustments).

How much would you feel good about spending on this in Early Access? $5? $10? Less?

Wow thank you for these comments they are exactly what I was hoping for!  I'll def be taking notes on your suggestions!

Question:

I'm one person programming this and I pay for the artwork. That means adding more art is expensive for me so I'm trying to figure out how to generate some funds to pay for more art....especially for the FPS section. I was thinking maybe after polishing this alpha more that I'd do a steam early access and see if that can generate some funds to get the art. Would you feel ok having to purchase this in early access on steam and would you (would anyone)?

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing!!

Cool thanks!

Once the game is released I do have future ideas for more content BUT likely not incremental additions. So the game ideally will be feature complete at launch. A while down the road (year or more) I may release a new version with more content and more things to do.  But  I have no idea if I'll actually have the time to do that which is why I'd like to just release the game as "complete". And then see what the future brings.

One thing I could think of to make this F2P is customize the ship and bridge with custom sprites and colors you could pay for. But that would be a lot of work to implement and I'm just one person.

my plan was for mobile to be a paid app once the game is done. Do you prefer free to play with ads over paid?

Thank you!

Game is FREE while in alpha testing!

This alpha is FULLY playable  from start to end and pretty well balanced already!

My goal for the alpha is to get feedback on game balance, bugs, and general enjoyment from players. I will take all of this into consideration as the game nears 1.0 launch. There won't be drastic changes from here on, but if there is enough income I can at least add more art and animation.

The idea for the game comes from old style games like Psi-5 Trading Company and Oregon Trail where you have a singular goal of making it to the end and have to balance your resources to make it.

Please let me know your thoughts on the game, suggestions, complaints, bug reports, and anything else.

Thanks for playing!

Loving it! Thank you!

Any chance we can get a windowed mode? It's a little too big on my screen and i'd love to shrink it to a smaller window.
