Started working on this title last August in Game Maker 8 PRO. I have been putting it together in parts and learning programming as I go. A lot of code is attributed from deconstruction from other sources, luckily before Game Maker Showcase disappeared there was a large community of games and source material to pick from. 

Currently I have completed a basic playable character right now just called the Space Marine. Trying to get a consistently down with one character before progressing to other playable characters.  Stuff like zone gravity, movement, environmental interactions and polish has been my goal. I figured if you start with a good cornerstone you can duplicate and modify this across multiple instances later. 

Space Marine Properties

Zone Interactivity, allows character to be in different states based on environmental factors.


Recently added "screen shake" based on height of fall.
Original character design has changed much from the original model, "Mage", to a more generic Space Marine.
