After School is year-long project that is edging closer and closer to completion. This game started off as a joke. I wanted to challenge myself to see if I could recreate a typical raunchy adult eroge, and I did. But one day I wrote a script for the game, and next think I knew, the game had a story. It was not easy at first. I remember posting the very first EXE file and the game only received 2 views per week. And those who played the game often left very negative reviews that would make me want to cry at times because I knew how hard I worked on it. I would feel discouraged and I used that frustration to improve the game. Even to this day. It has been a long, challenging journey but now the game has been noticed by several sources. Now the game receives more views in one day than it used to in a month. And most importantly.... I'm happy!
Many of the scenarios in this game were based on real events that occurred in my life and within my friend circle. That's kind of what helps the dialogue feel somewhat more realistic and establishes this personal connection with the player. I don't just want people to simply play this game and beat it. I want players to immerse themselves into the vast 2D world and melancholic music. The same way I do whenever I develop it ^^
What started as a stupid project became a moral-building hobby. And whenever I'm not buried up to my neck with work.....
I draw, and I write, and I animate, and I code! Creating vivid worlds and wild stories is what brings a smile on my face. And reading how the game has changed other peoples' lives really makes my day.
