You can talk about the game here and tell us what you enjoyed in this game! Your feedback helps us to improve and is greatly appreciated.
NO SPOILERS are allowed in this topic! :)
We have checked it out however, we were thinking of an online version of it that would be accessible through the game page and not via the app. Not everyone has enough space on their computers so having it readily available via the game page would improve the site.
Hello, we would like to share an idea we have that we believe would benefit itch.io greatly. Imagine if there was a way to upload a game and then set it to be publicly downloadable at a later time.
The developer would upload the game onto itch.io and the game's page would state that the game download would be available at the release date that the developer set it to. This option would allow developers freedom to have a game posted on the date automatically instead of manually.
We hope that you will take this idea into consideration.
Thank you, and have a nice day.
Remember to send in your submissions! If you cannot get a game finished in time then you can continue working on it and enter it into our next gamejam.
We cannot wait to see what romantic games you have created!
Another idea we have is maybe make it so that you can distribute discount codes for games. This option would allow people to give others a discount but most won't be able to get it. The reason why this would be okay is that if a game isn't selling well but the itchio user wants to give a game out to a contest winner then the winner could get it for a discount instead. But then again, it is all up to your most capable crew, Keep up the good work!
The only problem areas we see so far is the unique pages for game developers on itchio aren't as updated as say the individual game page styles can be. We'd like better customization for developer pages such as opacity or a theme setting change. So far so good though. We really enjoy it here on itchio.
This is the very first time we have chosen to do something along these lines. We've had previous game jams but none were successful. All previous game jams we have done were cancelled do to lack of submissions and people interested. We won't cancel any game jam as long as we get at least ten people signed up. Any missed submissions can be emailed to us via email@example.com Please get any of your gamedev friends to sign up so we won't have to cancel this game jam like our other ones.
Thanks for all of your submissions to our Game Jam! We graciously thank each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts! Your games look great and play well and we wish all of you good luck in this Game Jam!
Our game that we submitted is a short and simple game. It is a space shooter where you play as one of our mascots and blast eyebats to protect the galaxy. You win the short game by grabbing a purple gem.
