Have a problem with installing the game? Can't find the file anywhere?

We'll walk you through the steps again and make sure that you get to play it!

Our game is a Windows game and not a phone app.  There is no way to upload a game and set a release time via the game's page via the app or otherwise.

We have checked it out however, we were thinking of an online version of it that would be accessible through the game page and not via the app. Not everyone has enough space on their computers so having it readily available via the game page would improve the site.

Thank you for telling us. We were unaware of this.

Hello, we would like to share an idea we have that we believe would benefit itch.io greatly. Imagine if there was a way to upload a game and then set it to be publicly  downloadable at a later time.

The developer would upload the game onto itch.io and the game's page would state that the game download would be available at the release date that the developer set it to. This option would allow developers freedom to have a game posted on the date automatically instead of manually.

We hope that you will take this idea into consideration.

Thank you, and have a nice day.

Remember to send in your submissions! If you cannot get a game finished in time then you can continue working on it and enter it into our next gamejam.

We cannot wait to see what romantic games you have created!

A very helpful article and we'll be sure to keep it in mind.

We enjoy hearing about what else this game requires for it to be even better so please send all suggestions here or to us on Twitter.

We won't be sending a game into our gamejam this year but we might do so next year. We can't wait to see all of your entries to this gamejam and we hope that everyone has fun!

Created a new topic Lobby

This is the 'lobby' for everyone to talk about their entry to our gamejam or to compliment other developers on their work. Keep all comments nice and respectful.

Another idea we have is maybe make it so that you can distribute discount codes for games. This option would allow people to give others a discount but most won't be able to get it. The reason why this would be okay is that if a game isn't selling well but the itchio user wants to give a game out to a contest winner then the winner could get it for a discount instead. But then again, it is all up to your most capable crew, Keep up the good work!

The only problem areas we see so far is the unique pages for game developers on itchio aren't as updated as say the individual game page styles can be. We'd like better customization for developer pages such as opacity or a theme setting change. So far so good though. We really enjoy it here on itchio.

We are grateful for this change. We hope that more features will be added in the future.

Yes, we did that.

We're planning to submit our old game called "Batty Pod: Halloween Rulez". Our old game is where you play as a bat and you shoot at creepy monsters that want to harm you!

Created a new topic General Chat

This is the place where you can ask questions or tell us more about the game you have submitted.

Thank you.

This is the very first time we have chosen to do something along these lines. We've had previous game jams but none were successful. All previous game jams we have done were cancelled do to lack of submissions and people interested. We won't cancel any game jam as long as we get at least ten people signed up. Any missed submissions can be emailed to us via electriceyebathead@gmail.com Please get any of your gamedev friends to sign up so we won't have to cancel this game jam like our other ones.

Created a new topic A Thank You

Thanks for all of your submissions to our Game Jam! We graciously thank each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts! Your games look great and play well and we wish all of you good luck in this Game Jam!

Our game that we submitted is a short and simple game. It is a space shooter where you play as one of our mascots and blast eyebats to protect the galaxy. You win the short game by grabbing a purple gem.

Be sure to submit your game before the due date so that people can vote on your project!

If you can't submit before the due date then you cannot win the jam!
