Thank you so much! haha it's ok I do believe predicting the guns recoil is very difficult. Thank you so much for taking the time to check out my game :)

Thank you for the very kind words. A teleport lock on system is actually a great idea! Yes so when the player reaches 30 percent health the slow motion will trigger. I'm glad you were entertained and had the time to give my game a go and thank you so much for the valuable feedback. It means a lot! :)
It's always incredible when some adds voice acting to a game jam and this is no exception. the opening scene is incredibly immersive and so cool to go through twice to get the full experience of both pills. The game ran amazingly on my quest one which always deserves praise because of it's limited hardware, amazing work there. I had fun with this one and can see the potential for a really cool narative focused adventure puzzle game. Amazing work.
This is the smoothest, most polished game of the entire jam with an incredible concept that is just super easy to play. I kept inching closer and closer till I finally hit that magic max number of 50 swipes. I wish I could provide some valuable feedback but this game just hit every note perfectly for me. 5 stars my friend 5 amazing stars.
Voice acting in a game jam! WOW! that's some amazing stuff right there. I really enjoyed the witty remarks and comments based on my actions in game it added so much enjoyable flavour to the game, that I have so far not experienced in any other game in the jam. I found the game to be extreamly difficult though and I actually never managed to beat it, because the enemies run faster than me if I can't kill them before they pass me it's an instant game over because it's really hard to throw items in my opinion. That doesn't detract from the enjoyment of this game and the sheer effort and quality here. Amazing work!
Simple, clean, straight into the action. A very easy game to pick up with a very relatable message that's a clever take on the theme. I really enjoyed playing this one once I understood how to play. seeing the shark swim around had me a little scared aha but that's just me. Honestly just amazing work with this one I really enjoyed it.
This game is very much different from all the other VR games I've played so far. I really enjoyed the items one time use mechanic. The game was incredibly easy to pick up and play and the tutorial was very informative. it's probably the best tutorial so far. Amazing work on this project really enjoyed this one.
This game definitely took me a few tries to complete because when a mummy killed me anything from that point on when interacting with anything would crash the game. In the end I did complete the game and I gotta say the music choice was very good, all 3 sound tracks. It was very hard to grab items but I'm sure you're aware of that. This game ran amazingly on the quest one which always deserves praise because of the quest one's lower specs, so amazing job on that. I also really enjoyed how when using the torch it would show the cool egyptian paintings on the wall, this alone could be used as a really cool puzzle solving mechanic in future projects. All in all, very nice project excellent work!
The left hand is the intended teleport hand, I've got a few clues as to why it's not consistent but what I really need to do is get it to work as just a button interaction. For some reason the template package provided has the teleport mapped to the joystick and wont trigger unless the joystick value is being changed. When I tried to change the input manager to accept a button input it would not teleport the player unless the joystick was being moved. This is an issue I truely wish I could've fixed before the end of the jam but was unsuccessful and decided to focus more on other gameplay elements. If you have any suggestions for me to try I'd truely appreciate it. Thank you :)
Thank you so much! Yes the teleport interaction isn't my favourite either the way it's handled is a bit strange in xr tool kit, I unfortunately couldn't set it up to just use a button input or make the joystick more responsive. Thank you so much for this feedback it really helps.
And don't you worry I'm making it my mission to get through as many projects as possible, I will get to yours before the voting period is over :)
Thank you so much! Hearing that the sound design is fantastic means a lot to me, as that's usually my weakest area in game development due to being deaf in one ear, I'm extremely happy to hear that! Thanks for the feedback on the enemies I actually had them at more hp during the early parts of development so I'm even more glad now that I lowered the hp. Thanks for all the feedback it means a lot.
This game was extreamly good, just straight up max polish right here. Game felt, looked and ran amazingly with no issues. I made it up to the cornfield level and for some reason the 2 guys near the truck would not get hit and the glove would just bounce off them(pretty sure they must have been the wrong targets) I would've loved a level select to see if there was anymore level I might have missed due to not getting past the cornfield and because on one attempt I accidentally hit the quit game button. Honeslty amazing work and in 9 days. This is extreamly good in all 4 rating categories. You nailed it!
Amazing work this one is a lot of fun, I really wanted to keep playing this one but without snap turning I get extream motion sickness. There is an impressive amount of mechanics in this game and gives it a lot of player options and fun to be had. This game could really benefit from a tutoiral as it took me a long time to realise that enemies drop guns and I didn't even know that I could climb untill I came here and seen the comments and booted the game up for round 2. Was there a screen shake feature in this game?(I'm not sure if it's my controller drift or there was a screen shake) I can not express how good this game feels to play, with some polish and a snap turn feature I'd defos give this game a 3rd round.
This game is easily among my favourites in the jam, very cool, unique concept with amazing use of theme. I genuinely really enjoyed using the cards to hammer down aliens and sometimes humans aha. The only real issues I had with the game is the balance of cards(being a card game this is extreamly hard to to and to be fair in 9 days this is very good) and storing the cards in my off hand didn't feel intuitive and I lost so many cards to the floor, I'd suggest maybe when the cards hit the floor have it teleport into the players off hand that would be perfect. But other than that this is a really amazing experience with a lot of potential to grow.
Thank you! I'm so happy to hear that you really enjoyed it! It means a lot to hear that you could see it as a steam release, I currently have no plans for further releases, but that can always change. The slow-motion definitely made the game much easier but I love slow-motion and vr too much aha, finding ways to design this to not be repetitive and still keep the challenge will be tough. Thank you so much for this valuable feedback, it'll go a long way if I decide to continute development on this game. Once again thank you so much, it means a lot!
Damn! nice work with the visual my dude! This ran perfectly on my quest one. Great work on the optimization. The music was a bit loud but I can't lie it was a banger and fitted perfectly! I really enjoyed they way enemies would bounce away after I shot them incredibly satisfying. I do believe you can do so much with this concept, for example I could easliy see this being a cool run and gun puzzle game where the player is graded on the amount of bullets they have left in their gun at the end of the run. I defos really enjoyed this one despite it being very short. Great stuff!
Use of theme and the concept is really nice! A game like this where you have heaps of weapons/ items can be an extream challenge to desgin, especially in vr. I really hope you consider developing this further or at least take what you have learned from this game and incorporate in further projects. I wish you luck and excellent work.
So I think because the valve index doesn't have an input map for "Trigger Button" only "Trigger Pressed" so when you set "Generic XR Trigger button" the index controllers won't read it. So I've just added "Valve Index Trigger Pressed" to the input bindings. It's uploading now the build should be named "Welcome to the Simulation - Valve Index Fix". No rush of course to check it but please let me know if it fixes the problem, and we can also let anyone else know who may be experiencing the same problems.
