Except Jayesh_P didn't do the coding? They made two level designs last minute, but coding and music was done by Anthony and artwork was done by Yu1_S3raph.

The game turned out pretty great considering it was only the two of you! Great job. I'm a big fan of your pixel art. They are very pleasing on the eye! Hope to see more of your work in the future!

No, you submitted this into Week 184, which the theme was Thumb War.

Thank you for your comment!

We are absolutely going to be updating this game with the additions of checkpoints, more polish to the environments, and a boss scene. We hope you'll come play again at that time!

I don't see how this fits the theme of this game jam?

Cute, fun little time consumer! My preschooler got a kick out of the moles making a mockery of me, haha!

I loved your take on the theme. Good job!

Thank you so much for playing and leaving a comment!

Our plans for fleshing this game out into a bigger, playable platformer will be to fix up the UI, implement checkpoints, and add more depth to it all. I hope you'll come back to play it when it has its eventual update, haha!

I really appreciate all the tips! :)

Thank you for taking the time to play ours and leaving a comment.

Yeesss. Definitely. This is a game we are absolutely planning on expanding on and checkpoints will definitely be a feature implemented. I like your ideas. Thank you!

Haha! Very cute and clever. I want to fight someone as a thumb now!

This was fun! Now my SO doesn't have the advantage with his much longer guitarist fingers to mine, haha. Leveling the playing field!

The story behind this had me in stiches! Artwork is fun and the controls engaging. The pixel blood had me laughing. Very well done. Love it.

What a charming little game! Brings flashbacks of my own mother doing the spit shine, haha!

Awesome job!

That was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed the art style. It honestly had that staring at a screen feeling.

I quite enjoyed this unique experience as your texting actually didn't want you to use shift for proper capitalization and no usage of commas and apostrophes. That added a degree of difficulty in itself and that was a fun quirk, haha!

Thank you for the experience! Good job!

Very fun game! I did find a bug. You can win and lose at the same time. The enemies don't stop after winning or losing the game so the counters keep going.

Otherwise, very engaging and very funny. :)

If you have time, mind checking out mine and my SO's game? We did World War T, haha!

Oh my goodness! Thank you for playing! I couldn't stop smiling the whole time and I had a good laugh when you made the remarks about the sphincter doors. Gotta love the gross/cute!

Thank you again!

Thank you! I'm working on a fantasy weapon/inventory set next. :)

Hope you'll check us out again sometime!

Thank you! I'm still learning how to do art, haha. Learning how to use GIMP and developing a style I am comfortable with.

Yes! Anthony was telling me about the color choices I was going for and reminded me about which items are interactable and I spaced it. So thank you so much for pointing that out.

Haha, yes, the main character not looking like a hero was a personal choice. They are a vicious little summabitch. Something like a Kirby/Langolier cross.

I'm hoping if this gets enough eyes on it that I can go through and do an overhaul on it. I'm going in currently and fixing the projectiles to improve visibility and interactable objects to help progress through the game.

I truly appreciate your time for playing and helping me out with critiques! I want to keep going and get better. :)

Hey there! I downloaded and played through Windows and am having fun. I plan to download for my phone to play while on break at work.

I find the art style charming and the mechanics straightforward. The scale of difficulty feels just right as you avoid the trains and have to respond very quickly as to not to get squashed but also not starve!

I'll be showing my friends this game. :)
