awesome!do you have any plans to go steam?

Thank you for this beautiful experience. I was in tears by the end—this game reminded me of loved ones I've lost, and for that, I'm deeply grateful.🩷

"Those we carry in memory are never truly gone. They shape our silence, echo in our steps, and live in the spaces we never speak of."
This line will stay with me—it’s become a new life motto.🌌

The atmosphere is deeply immersive. From the bgm music to the narrative details, level design, item and task flow—I can feel your care and intention in every part of it.

As someone who loved To the Moon and Miside, I honestly think your story stands on even higher emotional ground.😘

Some small bugs and movement issues are understandable, maybe could add more mechanics, puzzles, etc. keep going, looking to more creations you made. 🐱

greatgame, I love hearing the coin sound with so many helpers, ziii,. chill!

I had fun playing this game, especially when I have so many cards. keep going! looking forward to your steam version.

great game!! your graphics is awesome

thank you. glad you like it. :)

thanks for your kind words, still many dizzy and repetitive parts, will keep going!

thanks for playing.

sorrry the camera seems dizzy at this time. the reason is about the sanity I believe. The bad gameplay design this time😭, thanks for playing my game!

Hey Zag! thanks so much for your kind words and feedback—it really means a lot to me 😺. I’m glad you liked the initial concept and characters! Actually, this game was made with Unity, alongside a friend. This is the first project with unity. I get what you’re saying about the repetitive parts and the ending feeling flat, and I totally agree there’s room to improve. :D

Honestly, YAHAHA has been a huge help for me as a beginner, and it made jumping into Unity way easier during this project.  But this time, the issues with the game are on me, not YAHAHA, because the time limit. Your critique is super valid, and I’ll definitely take it to heart for my next project. :)

Thanks again for your honesty and encouragement. I’ll keep working to make better games, thank you again! 🩷🩷

Hi, everyone! 👋

First of all, let me say a huge THANK YOU to each and every one of you for participating in this Game Jam. Your creativity and hard work are truly inspiring! 🎮✨

For those who don’t know me yet, I’m from Yahaha Games. 🌟 Our mission is to empower creators and help bring amazing games to life. If you’ve developed an exceptional game—whether as part of this Game Jam or outside of it—please don’t hesitate to reach out to us via Twitter, Steam, or Discord. We’re always on the lookout for incredible projects to support and publish! 🕹️💼

I also owe you all a heartfelt apology 😅—things have been incredibly hectic on my end lately. Between finalizing multiple publishing contracts, rushing to prepare game marketing plans, and managing community operations (all at once! 🏃‍♀️💨), I haven’t been able to release this feedback as promptly as I had hoped. I’m really sorry for keeping you waiting and deeply appreciate your patience and understanding. 🙏

💗Common Observations Across All Games

After reviewing all the submissions, I noticed a few key challenges that many games had in common:

  1. Long-term Expansion Potential While short playtime works well for demos, many games lacked clear paths for expanding into full-length experiences. For a commercial project, the ability to grow beyond a prototype is critical. While Game Jams are about creativity and fun, keep in mind that scalability is vital for market success.
  2. Unique Artistic Style A distinct and polished art style can make a huge difference in a game’s market appeal. It helps attract attention, improves visibility, and can even become the defining characteristic of a game. Investing in cohesive visuals—whether it’s pixel art, hand-drawn aesthetics, or a unique minimalistic approach—can significantly elevate your project’s potential.

These are areas where refining your work could bring your projects closer to being market-ready. Let’s keep pushing forward! 🚀

Without further ado, here’s the detailed feedback for each game. Let’s dive in! 🕹️👇

**【Please note that the following order does not indicate ranking】**

  1. Super Davido 2
  • A pixel platformer reminiscent of “I Wanna Be The Guy.” While the concept is clear, the current gameplay and level design feel repetitive. Games driven by negative emotions require exceptionally strong design to balance frustration with satisfaction.
  • Suggestions:
    • Diversify level mechanics and challenges to maintain engagement.
    • Soften the death sound effect—it’s something players will hear a lot, so it needs to be pleasant. 🎧

1. Sugar Sling Showdown: https://eaz-games.itch.io/sugar-sling-showdown

  • A fast-paced party game with potential but hindered by bugs and limited depth.
  • Bugs:
    • Single-player mode: Pressing ESC causes the UI to obstruct the pause menu.
    • Two-player mode: WASD controls for Player 1 are unresponsive.
  • Suggestions:
    • Fix bugs for smoother gameplay. 🛠️
    • Add tutorials or visual guides to improve onboarding.
    • Expand mechanics, enhance feedback, and level up the art for more player satisfaction!

  • Suggestions:
    • Develop level designs that incorporate delivery-related challenges. 📦🏎️
    • Refine visuals and align mechanics more closely with the theme.

3. Cleansing Day: https://liminace.itch.io/cleansing-day

  • A narrative-driven game with decent visuals, but the current storyline and gameplay are limited.
  • Suggestions:
    • Expand the narrative for a more compelling experience. ✍️
    • Add variety to gameplay to maintain interest.
    • Consider whether the story can justify a paid model.

4. New Chair: https://galvan1.itch.io/new-chair

    • Upgrade visuals to meet audience expectations for a paid game.

7. Demon’s Escape: https://brennennenn.itch.io/demons-escape

  • Suggestions:
    • Expand content for a more substantial experience.
    • Add branching storylines or interactive elements to increase replayability. 📖

10. Indiegolf Update 1.7: https://sugarshane5499.itch.io/indiegolf

Thank you so much for your playing and such a wonderful video! 😊 This game had a larger scope than my previous ones, so some small details didn’t get the polish they deserve.
