The patch notes for B.0.8.5.0 say to do this, but I do not know how.

This will happen every balance update and isn't really something that can be fixed without the latest version of the game somehow including every other version of the game just for the sake of replays.
The reason the replays break is because the moves that were used in the replays simply have different properties now than they used to. Or use moves that don't exist at all anymore.
