Howdy i'm not LAGS but i can tell you how if you had already purchased the game there is a lil window on top that says you already bought this so you just click download there and should be able to download the new update when released, hope i explained myself well, if not feel  free to reach me out.

prob when gta 6 releases but lets be patient dev is just one person working on different projects also as any other human being outside from creating content he's got a life and other stuff to spend his time with and also the task of programming and designing your own game is really tedious so lets just patiently wait till we receive any future information on updates.
