Thanks for the awesome feedback! We really appreciate it as its somewhat rare to get posts on game jam games.

You've inspired to make a QoL update. Thank you for playing!

Thanks for the reminder :)

This entry is the song of my people.

Love it!

Nice! This feels like a complete game.

On a technical level it's impressive that you got AI in as wall as tight mechanics. Perhaps my own team's AI is a bit too good since the hit out most of the other team before I had a chance, although I was quite slow.

A two player version is the logical progression for this.

Artistically I really like it. You nailed the old school look with the CTR monitor warp and pixel art without being too heavy handed. The sound effects also compliment this well.

Very nice! An excellent game jam entry.

I'm the worst house sitter.

I played the optimized version. Unfortunately the letter disappeared very quickly so I didn't get a chance to read what to do.

So instead I tried to imprison the monster in a mountain of furniture and food. Clearly it has been hitting the gym because it broke through my barrier every time.

Despite not playing the game as intended, I can say I like the art style. It's a bit strange how slow the objects fall though. If you upload another build I'll try play the game according to the instructions!

Sorry for imprisoning your monster :(

The Dark Souls of racing games

Hi Nick, Great solo entry!

Firstly getting multiplayer in is a real achievement. Secondly, bringing asteroids controls to a racing game is madness! I love it, I need to give this a go with some other players to witness the chaos.

At times I thought you could just coast along the boundary but you added those yellow balls that spin you out, very evil ;-)

Also glad to see the claymation art style made it in, it's visually interesting. My only feedback would be to somehow add AIs, but that's a bit scope heavy for a game jam.

Great job!

As your first game, well done and welcome! So happy to have people entering the game development space.

Your game proves that keeping things simple is a strength. On the last two levels I made it to the door on the last second and it was genuinely exciting.

Some minor notes:
There was a moment on level 3 where I had some lag, not sure why but it wasn't too bad.

When you die you restart the whole game. Usually I'd say this is pretty brutal but after seeing that there weren't too many levels I'd say it is fine. If you were to add more I'd advise a retry button or a lives system.

Great job! I hope you will continue to make games and good luck.

Lilies! I was quite confused at first running around like a lost man on an island. When I figured out how to drop items I got my "farming engine" started.

I think the initial curve of waiting time vs rewards starts a bit high. But once the farm gets rolling I can understand that resources would be more plentiful. One just needs to get to that point.

I also kept trying to chop trees at the start to get wood. Is that a thing? Otherwise it might be better to give the player a sword instead of an axe :)

We used the same assets so I like to imagine that our games are set in the same universe ;-D

Overall very technically impressive! Well done.

Hi Zayd

Thanks for playing and giving us feedback. The screenshots of the bugs you encountered helps a lot! I've uploaded a new build with a fix for the UI scaling.

I really liked the visuals. I chopped people up but then I felt sad for being a savage dishonorable samurai.
