Meet us at the TOWNSQUEER on May 29

Welcome to TOWNSQUEER, a new zine and games bundle set to run from May 29 to June 15, and brought to you by your neighbors over at gamedev.lgbt. Here you can meet some of the folks around our digital village, get to know some of the artists behind the art you love, and link arms in solidarity with us as we help build a world where queer art and community bustle and thrive.

For the latest updates on the bundle, please keep an eye on this page. You can also follow our accounts on Mastodon and Bluesky. For any questions or comments, please e-mail us at zine at gamedev dot lgbt. We also have a press kit for media and streamers.

Building the TOWNSQUEER

Proceeds from the TOWNSQUEER vol. 1 games bundle will split equally among the participants who opted in to revenue sharing, with the cut for the zine itself going to pay for our server hosting. Together we are building a safe and welcoming community for queer game developers on the Fediverse and beyond. If that sounds like something you want to be a part of, please consider signing up for a Mastodon account with us!

All of our lovely artwork comes courtesy of FUTURE RUINS.

TOWNSQUEER organizers:

Hello! I was wondering if it was possible to generate download keys for co-op bundles, e.g. to send to press outlets and such. If so, how do I do that? Thank you so much for any help you can provide!

Thank you so much!!

Hello! We have already written in to itch support (request ID 363272) but have yet to hear back after over a week, and due to this being a time-sensitive matter, we are hoping to be able to get a response soon.

We are organizing a bundle and trying to edit the revshare so that some accounts’ revshare is set to 0%, while the remaining accounts are split equally. The sliders on the bundle page make it difficult to set these numbers precisely. We have sent in the relevant information to support, and are hoping to be able to get this sorted. Thank you so much for any help you are able to provide!
