1. My name is Miguel Pimentel, the words in bold are my answers. The words in italics are my teammate's.

2. I joined, but I didn't participate. Hopefully, we can remedy that this time! I didn't participate last time, I joined because he told me to.

3. Yes! My favorites to this day are the Portal Series, but I grew up around video games. I always wanted to bring smiles to people the way video games did to me. This is a light foray into attempting to do just that. The idea for our game came about from a TTRPG that one of us runs. Final Fantasy 7 and Xyst MUSH are my favorites that also inspired me to try my hand at programming in the first place.

4. Not really, the closest I have is a Russian Roulette game that was text only. It very easily led to a bloodbath because I ran the 1-6 for each "player" which means the same round could take out every one. I played with Tiny MUSH, RenPy, Construct 2, and Twine, but I don't have any real experience.

5. I really, really enjoy programming. That, and video games. I enjoy writing and art.

6. Make a client / server connection, and make a final product.

1. Hi there! What's your name? Want to introduce yourself?

My name is Miguel, and I'm new to game jams. I am kinda nervous, so I'm hoping that writing this up will help my nerves.

2. Did you participate in the last jam we held? If so, what do you plan on doing better this time? If not, what's your reason for joining?

I didn't participate in the last game jam, but I have been looking for beginner level game jams for a little bit! This one seemed pretty cool, so I decided to join.

3. What games are your favorites? Did any of them inspire you, or made you want to make your own?

I have a ton of games I will always enjoy, but a short list follows:

Portal - The portal series was great, and even now I occasionally go back and replay it. It's a series close to me, as one of the first video games I played.

Monster Prom - While I don't really get to play monster prom often, it's still one of my favorite games. It was well made, with fun characters and every story line was interesting. My favorite characters in it are Damien Lavey and Liam De Lioncourt. This is the most likely game you'll see the influences of in my submission.

4. Do you have experience with game development? What did you do/with what engine?

I don't really have much experience. I have a lot of unfinished games in renpy or python, but nothing major.

5. Tell us about something you're passionate about!

I play D&D regularly, and run two D&D campaigns. It's a very, very fun hobby.

6. What are your goals for this game jam?

My goal is to make a minimum of a prototype for a dating sim with the NPCs of one of the D&D campaigns that I run.
