You can play on Linux using wine.

You should be able to copy save.rgd from C:/Users/<user>/AppData/LocalLow/Raft/Raft/SavedGames

Where are Linux save files stored? I'd like to add them to my windows version 1.05 in wine.

There won't be more updates (at least for now). If you have Linux you can install wine and play windows version with it.
