Cute!

(1 edit)

Pretty cool! Don't have really anything smart to say, but I like that you varied a bit the delivery between fonts, sentences that bring you somewhere, sentences that don't, sentences to see next sentence and sentences that are next sentence.

Quite liked the look of this game and the instant teleport. The movement was a bit slow but I really enjoy that you could turn DURING the forward animation. If the animation are slightly sped up, I  bet it could feel really awesome.

Marvelous, I really like the map, the writing, and the art! It worked super well. I don't like raw RPS combat like this, but you made all this letters shine and pop, and one hit kill made it so I wouldn't get crazy. Really great.

Pretty cool and kept me busy for a while. Reading the comment makes me realize that maybe I didn't have an option to raise my attack level. I would block block block block until finally my enemy have poor defense. I think it's a cool idea however! Makes me wonder how the combat could be spiced more.

Found a spell around my second try but couldn't escape the dungeon before being killed by slimes! It's a nice idea, but I would have like to see a bit more.

Ahah thanks for playing! Yeah, the interactable objects have no idea of their environment, I just check if the player is on an adjacent space. Will do better next time!

The sprite is not entirely missing but the fade in, that makes them appear is very very  slow. As a result they will be only displayed on longer scenes, I can take a video tonight if you need more than the description. Very interesting for the engine you're using!

Very nice! This reminds me of many dice placement games and this is perfect for short games!

Very fitting with the theme (second words + mechanics) and very complete. Nice combat and the music is banger also! I felt a bit lost sometimes but that's alright.

Very cute, got a few bugs (sprites for the characters dont appear, if you take wrong door at the start, game exit ??) but it was short and sweet! I'm curious about what engine you used for this, did you make it yourself ? Great work for everyone involved anyway!

Nice environment and monsters, I am very curious how you made them! The nature taking ahold of the ruined building was really lovely and the inventory system was fun to play with!

Very nice and original. The first screen is a bit hard to take in, but I decided to just wing it. The different styles are very neat and sell the theme a lot. The music was nice and its absence in the dull reality too. Did you had any inspiration about your battle system ? Somehow, maybe because of your drawings, I feel like it remind me of something of my childhood but I can't tell what. I can't even tell if it's a boargame or a videogame eheh.

Nice ambiance! It's pretty cool that you went for verticality since it's underused in this genre imo. Angry plants for your water in the desert was also a nice change of pace compared to your usual alien menace. I attained delivrance at least!

Yeah it's pretty crazy it was not iterated more. I think your take was great too especially how you shown the timeline.

Ahaha I never heard of those, I thought it was looking too much like Darkest Dungeon/Slay the Spire! I inspired myself from a boardgame called RoboRally where you program your moves in advance, but your opponents too and it messes your moves! So you watch how your perfect plan get screwed up. I couldn't do that on a solo game because it's unfair, so I had the idea how Slay the Spire always shows you moves in advance so it always feel like you're in control. I'll definitely check Guild of Dungeoneering!

Awesome monsters and graphics. The world switching effect is rad and you can move around fast. The game got stuck fighting some monster deep within a dungeon (I had health left but could not input any key). The peaceful music was relaxing. It's still really nice!

Very cool! I really love underwater level and themes and this was great. The deep sea monsters were great and the audio, animation and general feel was great. At some point, events would populate my whole map for some reason but I managed! Congrats!

Short and sweet!

Thansk, and for the sword attack yeah, it was exactly that

Modifying variable via the inspector is nice, but next time I will set everything via code so it will stop moving around >: I

Gorgeous! The colors fits the theme well as well as fighting your twin. Fights were a bit hard at time sand I couldn't understand why an enemy would wreck me. It's a small but very varied work with many enemies and location. It's great. A save point after tough enemies would have been great too!

I came to look for the horny graphics and what I got was a nice experiment. Dungeons were a bit dark making it hard to play during daylight. Very interesting that you got thoses illustration through Stable Diffusion.

Sprites and animations are nice, music too, but the character refuse to move after a while, or I die without enemies around preventing me to get far into the game.

Nice idea! I like going into the dungeon to get scrap, and craft  stuff out of it, to resell later. It could follow a gameplay loop similar to Recettear or Atelier series. This is a great idea that would work really well in a crawler.  The skeleton is rad. The gun sound was satisfying.

However, as other pointed out, the move speed is really slow and the lack of variety into the dungeon structure/texture makes it's very hard to orient yourself.

Cool game with old school vibes.  As cat said above, you can't go wrong with that. The encounter rate is a bit high and I got issue when pressing rotating and advancing too fast, it would make me have a sidestep (into the purple poison :c ).

Yeah I'm pretty bummed. Windows just delete it before I can act on it. Does it runs on other platforms ?

Very nice, the battle system is very close to Helen's Mysterious Castle and that's a good thing because it's very fun to play. Ambiance, sounds and graphism were very dungeony and crawly, which makes it super good! Beat the paladin, tricking it in a loop with dagger and shield eheh

Can't play the game because it's recognized by my computer as virus ? :c

Impressive mood, the very reduced FOV and blurry pixels works well, you're not sure if you seen a monster or just a flicker of your lighter. I feel like a music and more creepy monster sound would have contributed a lot, but I would not have been to review it then, too creeped out.

Nice! The movement feels great and the aesthetics are simple but effective. I wish monsters would look a bit more colorful to see them better in the fog and dungeon. The bridge scene was great and having people cheering you up and believing in you is cute. Sacrificing memories must feel terrible!

Requires .NET 6.0 Desktop to install. Solid labyrinth, even mapping it, I could not find all the light portal before dying!

Really pleasing aesthetically, the soundtrack fits the theme of the game well. I could not finish the game because I would get jumped by a group that would one shot me after a while and I was not sure if I was unlucky or if I was playing badly. On death, I would get a bug, making the game stuck, but I just had to restart, nothing serious. Great take.

Thanks a lot! I didn't have time to implement an input buffer and it was annoying me a lot as well. I actually sped up the transition a lot so it was less noticeable. Something for my next game >: D

Awesome graphics! I really really love them, there is something so pleasing with the colors. It was a funny game, and I don't think you should be so hard on yourself it's pretty good like this! I wish the reflex minigame was a bit more lenient but it's alright!

Very cute graphics but why does moving feels so slow?
