The Amnesia inspiration is a little heavy-handed at times, but overall this was a really good experience! Couple of small issues that I address in the video but I eagerly await the next chapter.


That was really cool! Looking forward to the full game.

I would add a sprint button or increase the movement speed. It's currently way too slow.

So I've been playing more on my off-time and I'm really impressed with what there is considering it's pre-alpha. The painting puzzle was very clever and the chainsaw-zombies definitely gave me a scare. Keep working on this!

I'm eagerly awaiting another game from you. Contemp was amazing and I can't wait to see what else you could make. 

It's very basic, but there's nothing particularly bad about it. I would possibly think about putting a bigger variety of zombie models in the game, as there's only two types. There was also a slight issue that when you kill a zombie and there's another zombie behind it, the bullets would go into the dead zombie instead of the alive one.

Apart from that, it's fine.

Oh yes, it didn't occur to me at the time but now that you mention it it's very reminiscent of Paratopic! Definitely a great game to be inspired by. Can't wait to see what you make next!

Hi! I played this along with some other Haunted PS1 Jam games. I think it still needs some work (which I talk about in my video below) but there's definitely improvement from Chapter One. (your game starts at 17:41)

So I've reached a point in the game where I've explored all of the house that I can, there's two locked doors and no apparent way of opening them?

I'm really not sure what I'm supposed to do here.

You're fast becoming one of my developers to watch! Was really impressed by Two Lines and this had the same creepy vibe to it. I'm really looking forward to Nemeses now! Will it be a fuller fleshed out game?

Sadly couldn't record this one due to hardware restrictions but I'll be eagerly awaiting whatever comes next.

Short but builds an amazing atmosphere up in such a short time. Definitely looking forward to more of your projects! 

Played through a little bit! Maybe I'm just dumb but I struggled with the puzzle in the library. What's here is very basic and barebones (by your own admission) but I'm very interested to see where this goes. Keep working on it! 

You need to fix the download as it won't launch the game.

Pretty good game! I really liked the focus on atmosphere and subtlety that most indie horror games these days completely ignore. I'll post my video on the game once it's done!

Did a playthrough. It's pretty interesting as it is, but needs a little more... spookiness.

I'm getting a 400 error from Dropbox when I try and download the game. Might need to look at it?

As the below poster said, Granny's kill animation broke in the elevator and I managed to finish the game with absolutely no tension or threat. Even without that game-breaking bug it's not a very good game in the slightest.

 Default map pack (seriously, I've seen the same map in Lazaretto, The One We Found and several other games), simplistic puzzles. This really needs improvement if it even hopes to be anywhere the quality of the game it's ripping off. 

This was great. Fantastic atmosphere that really kept me on edge throughout. The part with the photo's eyes moving was super-subtle and really freaked me out. 

Who did the narration? I'm curious.

With this and OK/NORMAL, 98DEMAKE has a knack for putting together a deeply unsettling atmosphere. Highly recommended.
