I can help you out with music and coding if you're interested! I'm not the greatest at coding by any means, but I'm there if you need me! :D

This is my second game jam, and I'm SUPER excited to start on it! I've spent the entire week marching around a field all day, and I'm glad that I can take a break from that and work on another video game. Plus, this jam has more people than last time, and it'll be exciting to see what other people come up with. I can't wait to start!
1. Hi there! What's your name? Want to introduce yourself?
My name is Joel McDonald and I'm very into video games and technology
2. Did you participate in the last jam we held? If so, what do you plan on doing better this time? If not, what's your reason for joining?
I haven't participated in any of the MFGJ Jams, but I did participate in a small jam earlier this weeks. I joined because I felt like I fell under the category of a beginner developer, and I felt this would be a great way to better my skills as a game dev
3. What games are your favorites? Did any of them inspire you, or made you want to make your own?
I really enjoy sandbox and RPG games. I felt like Undertale (don't hate) really inspired me to make a game due to the amount of success it got with its minimalistic and, honestly, terrible and inconsistent art style. Minecraft was a big inspiration, too, for the same reasons. It was just one person that turned a small game into something amazing.
4. Do you have experience with game development? What did you do/with what engine?
I have a small amount of experience in game creation, and I use Unity. I have a general understanding of the engine, and I've made a few things in it based on tutorials and such.
5. Tell us about something you're passionate about!
I'm very passionate about music and technology! I feel like both are a good combination when it comes to game development
6. What are your goals for this game jam?
I just want to make something that works and is at least a little bit fun to play.
7. Any advice to new jammers (if you're a veteran)?
Not a veteran by any means :/
I just wanted to create this post to wish everyone good luck in the MFGJ coming in these few days! I'm so excited to see everyone's entries, even my own! I'll have to come up with something that will push me to learn some new things! I've only technically created one working video game (that isn't completely finished, oops), and I'm excited to start getting cracking on my new game! With my last jam we had restrictions (a chair. specifically), but with this, it seems that my imagination is the only limit! I think I'm going to like this a lot!
