These posts inspire me to become a game dev. I love these bizarre behind-the-scenes problem solving that most people don't think about.

Who would dare call you lazy? You're one of the few people who make these kind of games that's actually finished one! Keep up the good work!

Stuck at 92% and 2 stars, I beat 4/20 mode too. Any hints?

Very good start, more complete demo than most h-games. I do think Aether's VA could take another pass at some of these lines though.

"hailstones as big as large hailstones" XD
neat game, good flavor, you did a good job making it feel harrowing.

I had been wondering about this. It felt like the whole game had been downgraded with the engine change. All this is understandable though, and I wish you luck moving forward, I think you've got something real good going on here.

so I can't buy the game with paypal and I don't have a credit card...how am i supposed to play?

oh yeah, that’s what I meant. There’s also a little typical slowdown, but Neneko’s speed becomes comically slow.

Launcher doesn't work, in browser the game slows to being unplayable when I get to the city.

Cute characters, can't wait to see more!

It freezes when I click on the "confirm cookies" or "continue without saving" buttons. The music mute button works until I click one of the other buttons.  I am using firefox 88.01 64-bit and only have cookies blocked for known trackers

I like it, but because there's no place to grind, if you make bad purchases or miss fights for exp, you can get stuck. I don't want to have to restart the whole game or play with one eye on the wiki the whole time.

Love the game, but I can't figure out how you're supposed to make money

Heck yeah! This game is one of the things inspiring me to learn blender, keep up the good work!

Thanks for the tips :) It's relieving to know that 2 ingredients will usually be most effective, the sheer number of possible combinations is a bit daunting. I'd also like to mention that rockhopper imp is my favorite.

I've been having fun with this, I like shuffling imps and items around to get as much joy as possible. Experimenting with ingredients is fun too, especially when you get an effect far stronger or way different that expected. The unfortunate thing about the oil mixing is that it's very unpredictable. It's hard to tell which square is going to end up being dominant, as well as pinpointing what colors have what effects, and what colors will show up with most combinations. Still fun, I think I'll be playing it assuming I'll never understand how the mixing works, which is an adventure in it's own right.

That's interesting, because when I put on my headset I could look around and see the models. The problems I encountered there make much more sense knowing it's not supposed to work in the first place :) Desktop version worked perfectly though, no problems there.

I like what I see so far. This feels like a spiritual successor to SDT, something I've been wanting for a while. Some feedback: When starting the game, it defaulted to run on my VR headset instead of my desktop. It would be nice if I had the option to choose which one I wanted to use. Otherwise, the game runs well and looks good, so I'm looking forward to see how it improves.

Giving the answers outright seems against the spirit of the thing, but I did spend more than a couple of hours figuring it all out, so I'll try to give something so others can avoid the same fate.

When Robin asks if you're listening, that's not just idle chatter. Everything that makes a sound is related to a hint in someway, and the sound itself is a hint for one of them.

Some hints will tell you what the card being held is, others will tell you of cards coming up. It'll be trial and error to figure out which is which.

The flower actually has two hints associated with it, be observant and try new things.

I believe there are only 9 hints, you'll have to guess one (though again, the 10/10 isn't great). If you're determined to completely clear it, I recommend figuring out the 9 clues, then guessing the first and resetting until you get it right.

Hopefully the dev doesn't get upset I'm helping out, but as in the game itself, sometimes cooperation is key ;)

Can we get the ability to remap the controls for keyboard or controller? I like the game, but it can be rough to handle with default settings.

Got 10/10. I figured out 8 hints and guessed the first 2 correctly. Now I know 9 of the hints, and I don't think there's a 10th one (hence saying you need a little luck). For those of you trying for 10/10, don't. It's not worth it.
