Alright, guys, now that the voting period is over, let's talk game performance and self-reflection. How did your game do? Are you feeling stoked or bummed? Share your experiences, mistakes, and advice, my dudes! As for me, the main lesson I learned is that prioritizing a web version of the game is key over a downloadable version. The web is where the real action happens, so make it your top priority, bros! Let's share our stories, learn from our mishaps, and help each other level up in this wild game dev journey! 🎮🔥

Thats a really good point! I will change the sound effect (and maybe add some visual effects?) to notify player that you are not supposed to eat blue files. Thank you for the feedback, I worked really hard on the art-style of the game as I tried to do something new to me, I'm glad it worked out well! ☺️

Great game! I like the style, it looks adorable! And I appreciate the idea that when you die - enemy is pushed back instead of you being respawned at start, definitely helps with the flow. And also I dont think I ever seen such a mechanic of you playing as a ghost who can pass through walls, but your enemies cant! Great game!😁

Thats one really impressive game! I like graphics and the idea in general, the only problem would be how fast explanations pass by (or maybe I am just a slow reader lol). And also the leader board seems to be broken right now? idk, but I enjoyed playing it!😃

Saaame, I had to upload web version to my website and link it in game's description💀

I am very glad to hear that killing viruses was satisfying, as it is what I was going for! The slowing down is caused by the increasing amount of miners installed by some viruses, but I agree that the way I implemented it may be too harsh. I am thinking about making a miner-meter in the corner of the screen and also making slowing down less extreme.
Thank you for your reply! I appreciate it!😊

Thank you!😊

I struggled to make the frog feel natural with the rest of the files, as it is a frog and not a file. All my previous games were either 3D or pixel art, so this art style was very new for me, but it seems to me that people like it so I will try to improve on it!

You can play web version on my website (I didn't compile web version on time and submissions closed, so for now it's only there).

The game is really interesting and I would LOVE to play it after you update it!

Yeah, I didn't have enough time to explain to player how to play my game. I wanted to make a tutorial level which would explain everything, but 10 minutes wasn't enough. About ambience... I forgor💀. The coding part and trying to make everything work with each other made my brain melt. But thank you for the reply!😃
(I will probably update the game after the game jam is over)

EZ first place (2000 points), but there seems to be a cap on how many sheep you can get into the pen (3-4 sheep). Here's why:

There is that one sheep (THE sheep) that stands in a corner of the map and every time a wolf spawns - it goes towards that one sheep. When you move any sheep away from its spawning location - another one spawns at that exact same location, and in the case of THE sheep - the new one replaces the role of wolf attractor. And over time wolves spawn more frequently, meaning that no matter what you do - at a certain point you will only be able to scare wolves away from THE sheep with no time to get it to the pen.

BUT, there is still one thing you can do to get an infinite score:

Overall nice game, I spent in it more time than I am willing to admit.🙂

Its so hard and I love it (I barely made it past first level)

The game has a really nice and with atmospheric art style, but the gameplay seems a bit blend, more minigames and some sort of punishment for collecting money from every house (even just a number in top right saying how much people like/dislike you) would do it.

Wait, there's LORE???? I was just mindlessly collecting money💀

Controls are a bit complicated, but overall a really nice game to play!

The difference of difficulty between normal mode and hard mode is insane. Love the game (Also the eyes are a bit creepy)

I love how letters are pronounced like in animal crossing.

Nice game,  it reminds me of classic arcade "Asteroids". But it could use some sound effects and music.

So you are the kris that has almost 800 points?  Dude, you're insane, do you teach classes on how to be a pro-gamer?

I like how square the slimes are! Also I noticed that when moving with arrow keys the slime doesn't turn. Also, what does the orange slime do?

A really nice game indeed, but god can the spikes be indicated somehow? (Yes I did rage-quit, let's not talk about that) And also I didn't realize at first that you have to AVOID coins, but it's by design, right? All in all, good game.

Very nice game! But it would be nice to be able to input your name instead of memorizing you number and score just to check how your score is doing.

Bro you're a madman 💀 I only got 27 points and third place
