Not the game dev but they said you aren't forced into the poly route, it's just an option you can take! If you want to date just Qui or Tamarack then you'll definitely be able to 👍

Step 2? The prologue isn't even done yet lol

Okay I know this is a couple months old but something similar happened to me! I was aiming for Aniva's route but I progressed a bit of Salinger's route and the game kept repeating Wednesday. So I loaded a previous save file where I hadn't talked to Salinger and only talked to Aniva + didn't progress any other routes and the problem was fixed. I think that you need to focus on one person, it's okay to progress a little with other people but you need to focus on one person because you can only have one weekend event with one person.

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but I can't find the icon that is suppose to appear after classes on Bugbear's route. I followed the guide filled out my bad student stat as much as possible on Monday. I used the mushrooms in the forest to also get 11 str on Monday. I got lucky and met him the first class I skipped on Tuesday but after classes on Tuesday and Wednesday I can't find his icon. I know I need to get this interaction before Thursday so I can get the other ones, but the icon won't show up for me, so is there something I'm missing?

I know this isn't what you asked but there is also a cute moment where Tamarack compliments your eyes if you have Heterochromia (two different eye colors)

It's definitely not all of the first step lol, I don't even think it's the entire prologue of step 1

if you go to the save/load screen and hover your mouse over the slot and press the delete button on your keyboard at the same time you can delete the save.
