Did a playthrough of this! Enjoyed it quite a bit!

One of the most interesting entries this year! My attempt to play it ended in befuddlement, but did write about the experience here

Love the creativity and the design. Can't wait to run it when I have time!

I admit I'm not the biggest fan of flipping coins, as they tend to fly all over the place when I do it. Nonetheless gave this a go with a solo Engineer with the scenario where the level he's in was getting flooded. Four coins/dice and no successes! Uh oh.. he did put up a good fight against the servitors, and found the hatch after that combat, broken. But it wasn't going to be easy, and I like my final showdowns. As he tried to get out, a spider servitor found him and shoved him back into the drowning level. RIP.

Bare bones but there's enough to latch on to, and I can see how it takes inspiration from one of my fave manga BLAME! Had a good time with this, but with just three stress expect a high casualty rate! Don't worry; more sacrifices are on the way!

Had an entertaining time with this. My character was a worker at a factory and the rival was a supervisor who was a mentor. After facing a lady who had a crush on my rival and then a hired hand, I had a showdown with the rival. Turns out my experience was real, and the drugs in my system wasn't fooling me. Sadly, the cards were against me and my mentor gunned me down.

Lots of great ideas here, though it did take a bit to understand the duel system. The two black suit icons could also be a tad larger; spade and clubs are hard to distinguish for old eyes! For a one pager, there's a lot of terminology going on, from Composure Stacks to Fate Shields and so on.

Thank you. Yes, definitely some inspiration from Monty Python! Glad you enjoyed it!

thank you!

Gorgeous game!

Thank you!

Looks great! Can't wait to try it!

Gorgeous game. Trying it  out and a little confused. The three actions are Investigate/Pact/Alchemy? When does sacrifice trigger?

So for seven days you do two of the actions, which means 14 actions before we look at the final Essence?

Is Offer part of Pact? So if we use 1 action for Pact for the whole week we would gain 3 Balance points, which would negate the potential balance drop of 1 point every week?

When does Sacrifice trigger?

Thanks!

Thank you! Yes, the idea of the game just stuck and the theme of the game jam just fit!

Did a bunny based RPG for this Jam as well, so decided to do a playthrough of this.  Messed up that the character was the one who transformed himself, but otherwise had fun with it!

Hah thanks for making it! Seeing that bunny pic was what spurred me to create a game for it!

Trying out your game. Great design. How does one clear a hex? I encountered some Z-Enemy in the Radwastes and deducted 1H and 1A. Is the hex now clear?

Thanks! Can see this becoming something more detailed w/ far more encounters.

Interesting game and I enjoy the concept. I found myself erasing quite often and after seven rolls there's not a single square marked. Is that the intention?

Hah that's adorable!

Did a playthrough of this and had fun with it. Wrote it up here

Hah thanks. I'll keep that in mind should I try playing the game again! Makes more sense.

Did a playthrough of this and quite enjoyed it. Interesting mechanisms but have some clarifications.
1) Does gear occasionally cancel the need to make rolls?
2) Does Harm start at 1?
Thanks for making the game and creating the jam!

Interesting. Always drawn to horror stuff. For your How You Play: Generate a scene, you say "If your BLUE DIE has a 6, the helpful thing is ." Do you mean the helpful thing is there

Did a playthrough of this as Eurydice and enjoyed it a lot! Writeup here.

A rules clarification: If you fail a challenge do you keep attempting it unless you get Find Another Way?

Thanks for making it!

Did a playthrough of this and really enjoyed it. Thanks for making the game!

Did a playthrough of this and wrote it up here. Really enjoyed the mix of the surreal and the poignant. Thanks for making it!

Did a playthrough of this and enjoyed it! A really great intro to journaling RPGs!

Thanks! Part 2 posted! Love the game and hope to do a playthrough with my partner.

Just played this and enjoyed it. First part of my playthrough

Great work! Perfect for adventures with lots of NPCs!

Did a quick playthrough of this and wrote about it here. Enjoyed it though was a little confused about the cost rules. Thanks for making the game!

Did a solo playthrough of this and thoroughly enjoyed it. The mechanics took some getting used to. Hope to try the others in the series some time!

Love this adventure. I know it's not meant for solo but it's how I prepare to run mods. Ran it solo with a sort of funnel; can read the playthrough here. Can't wait to run it with a group!

Thank you! I'll definitely check that out!

Anyway, here's my two playthroughs of it. thanks for making the game!

Did a playthrough of this and enjoyed it! Hope to see more stuff in the future.

Nice game! Just a rules clarification. If says when you draw a face card, you may draw an additional card to add +1 to its value. Do enemies do the same? Enjoyed my playthroughs of this, though first time around my character died after the second pull of round one.. :P

Did a playthrough of this here. Didn't get very far unfortunately but love the atmospheric writing and vibes! Hope to try it again!

Played this solo and really enjoyed it. My playthrough here.

Enjoyed playing this! A writeup of my playthrough here. It definitely packs a lot into those pages!

Wrote my playthrough of it. Combat rules were a bit tricky to figure out still, but I enjoyed the concept!

Thanks for making this! Did a play report of this and posted it here. Love its weirdness.
