This is good!
Fun and challenging, good music, sprites are nice (that weird bunny hurts to look at after 3 minutes though-)

But I was hoping to see my score after I lost, and it was hard to tell when they got close enough to deal damage

I SAT IN THE DARK SCREAMING MY LUNGS OUT FOR 30 MINUTES AND THE FINAL SCENE DIDN'T ACTIVATE UNTIL I GOT HERE TO WRITE A COMMENT

easy enough to understand, hard enough to feel great when you understand

nah you don't get it man, it's the pallet swap

the reward is a feeling of success for completing a difficult challenge, which is why I feel like someone couldn't beat it 

Killing the boss instead of the friend at the start caused it to crash...
