I'm Jamal. I've been programming for a while, and have always want to try my hand at game development.
2. Did you participate in the last jam we held? If so, what do you plan on doing better this time? If not, what's your reason for joining?
I did not. I joined this jam to finally get more motivation to work on a game.
3. What games are your favorites? Did any of them inspire you, or made you want to make your own?
I'm a big fan of JRPGs and adventure games. The game Kentucky Route Zero is one of the more recent ones that made me want to try this.
4. Do you have experience with game development? What did you do/with what engine?
I tried one of the Unity tutorials a while ago.
5. Tell us about something you're passionate about!
Passionate about learning stuff, and the capacity of people to learn.
6. What are your goals for this game jam?
To create a simple arcade game, and to learn the basics of PICO-8
