The start time should be automatically adjusted to your timezone, but it starts at 4:00 PM EST.

You can convert that to double-check, or add the remaining time left on the countdown to your local time as well.

We allow templates, so having some stuff put together beforehand is acceptable.

Since you're going through the trouble of asking, I trust that whatever you have will be fair. :)

Of course! I'd highly recommend a template with all your necessary plugins.

I also recommend doing an initial build of the template project to ensure everything is working as expected. :)

Thanks for participating! The first one is always intimidating. So I'm glad you had a good time.

I played it a couple of times and in the first instance, the stamp went a bit crazy. I think I pushed it too far into the collider below it because it stamped several times in a second. But, did nothing. When I tried it again, it worked for the first sheet of paper, but not the second. So, I'm not exactly sure what was happening.

I love the premise and the use of the extra tools to scare the fish off! It took a round or two to get the hang of it, but overall a good time.

Super cool and original opening sequence! I tried playing it a couple of times but the stamping mechanic didn't work reliably for me.

Quite a complete experience! I like how it actually has a beginning, middle, and end, and it's all really cohesive and well put together.

I really love the core idea of this! Killing enemies to earn guns to then using the guns to pick up more guns is great. The weapons themselves for very 90's FPS feeling to me. So, it all felt really good.

Well put together! I would've probably liked to see the throwing changed up a bit. Maybe pulling the trigger conjures a random book, and releasing the trigger throws it. It was a bit much to need to turn around for each throw.

Really cohesive look, and overall feel! The ambiance and sayings on each of the customer's shirts were the best part for me. I also liked the varied interactions in dispensing the food.

I love the attention to detail for the dog sounds and animation! I wasn't sure if I was playing correctly for scaring off the wolves, but quite an original concept.

For transparency for others that may see this, the Moderation Logs for the jam says that the "Owner removed their own project." But don't worry, we'll get the game re-added.

Edit: I sent a friend request to the OctoXR account on Discord. I can then provide a link to get the game added back into the jam.

Yes, you can upload updated builds before the deadline.

You can use whatever assets you like if the licensing is appropriate.

It's alright if you can only publish an .apk. But, posting an OpenXR desktop build will give you the most potential for others to play your game.

Yeah, AR/MR are allowed as well. Just keep in mind the necessary setup and installation.

During the judging period, you're unable to make changes. However, you can make updates once the judging period is over.

Took me a bit to get started, but nice work! I really enjoyed the mini jackhammer, and the project overall had a good look to it.

Loved the little town, and probably the only game in the jam that used microphone input! I wasn't sure if it was working. But, I did watch your video example, and looks like it was working fine on my end. It would've been cool to have some feedback for how strong you were blowing.

Great first effort! It Feels/looks cohesive and works well.

Very strong project! Surprisingly complex as well, took a bit to get used to the controls. But, I enjoyed this one quite a bit.

Great pacing, and a surprisingly good length! A bit rough sometimes, but can't complain too much.

So nice to finally see a friendly giant! Nice to see that they're still hazards to avoid while guiding the people back to their homes. Also, plenty of pathways to explore, so it feels large enough for a giant.

Very well put together little solar system! The orbiting of the planets around the hands was super cool.

I can tell that there's a lot of work in this! The art is good, and some of the mechanics do work. However, the changing in view angle, and amount of interfaces makes it difficult to fully enjoy.

Very, very, extremeee! I'm not sure what else I can say. I ran into a tree too. :P

The first time I played this, one of the first things I did was walk outside and got locked out. :P

Good job on the cloud/rain interaction, works pretty well!

As soon as I pushed in the sticks my controllers never stopped vibrating! :P, I really liked the look of the sky and outer planets.

Really interesting core idea and project is well put together! However, a lot of the interface and effects make it difficult to see/figure out what's going on.

Quite the chain reaction of buildings when I swung the scythe! Nice to see someone using UE4's destructible meshes.

Missing the other required files to play, unfortunately.

Great artwork, choice of music, and progression! I do kinda wish a could combine planets a bit quicker.

Worked well enough! It would be nice to have the collectibles be a different color so they're easier to see at a distance.

Great style, and worked well enough with the space I had! However, the floaty movement threw me off a bit when trying to hit things.

Neat idea! A lot of my pathing was going all over the place if I aimed at the sun too closely. But, it worked quite well once I got the hang of it.

One of the more interactive ways of planet defense I've seen! But, a bit difficult to get around the planet to defend it.

Of the wave-based shooters, this one probably has the best use of the theme!

I fell through the floor as well, unfortunately.

Good recreation of the field! I didn't get a paintball gun though. :(
