Unfortunately got disqualified for the use of AI generated assets.

No use of AI to create assets or code at all!

Totally agree on the balaning thing. There was absolutely no time left for much testing and balancing in this short amount of time unfortunately >.< Maybe I'll come back to this when updates are allowed again (maybe? More like very likely lol)

You can use the core upgrade to unlock new blocks to place so players have some kind of progression. I personally feel like 30 seconds to decide for an upgrade (+ I think it was 5 or 10% more after each upgrade) is enough to decide. You can also always stop time by dragging a block if that's not enough in some cases ^-^

But there are blocks with for example two hits o: You need to upgrade the core to unlock new blocks to appear

The small mouse is "just" a problem in the web version. No idea why but now it's there LUL

Rules say this:
"The game itself must be made within the jam time period, and you may not submit any work or updates during the voting period."
The voting period is over so updates should be allowed again. Can't find any rule that forbids updates after the jam is over (which would be a bit weird tbh if I wouldn't be allowed to work on my game after the jam x'D)

Yeah, as stated (I just can't remember where exactly lol) I purchased all art assets. Models, sprites etc because I'm a programmer and no artist. There also was no artist on the team because, well, I was the team :'D However I did make the whole look of the game (making it look like a DS game). But yeah, assets are all purchased ones

I'm definitely not big brain enough for this :'D 

Ohh I see. Will upload a fix on Saturday after the voting period! If you're interested in finishing now, restart the game and you should spawn at your last checkpoint. There're some invisible checkpoints that you'll return to after restarting for everyone not completing this in one go :D

As the text at the beginning (even before the title screen) says, this is an error caused by the webGL build that I can fix unfortunately :c So if you want to enjoy the soundtrack without any annoying audio bugs then try playing the download version ^-^

Nice platformer! I like the hanging mechanic. Wish there was more than the one level :D 

Love 3D platformers, nice to see one here! I just wasn't able to get past the first rope >.<

I saw a lot of comments that where just "oug". But here it fits perfectlsy. Oug!
(but for real, nice concept! Really like the small minigames instead of just going there and pressing a button to do the action)

Really like the rotating world! This also help with not having too many objects spawned at the same time, so it does not only look nice :D 

Interesting how many Jump King inspired games there are in this game jam (I mean mine's, too). I like the climbing mechanic a lot, adds something new to this

Didn't know I needed a banana machine gun in my life until today xD

Really nice, short game! Took some time to get used to when exactly I had to jump when collecting the bananas for the double jump. I think an input buffer would help a lot here. But very nice ^-^

Defeated the first enemy and then there suddenly where a lot of enemies that shot me, was dead within like two seconds and no chance to recover from that :'D But I do like the whole top down shooter idea where you shoot bananas lol

This is a lot of fun! Got to level 14. It gets very satisfying after some time when you got a few upgrades :3

Looking very cute. Took some time to get used to holding a button and then pressing the other one for high notes instead of just pressing another button but I got there eventually :D 

Really nice idea to have to throw bananas to use them in order to jump!

I love this artstyle! It's so simple but that's why it's so charming. Not being able to see past "walls" also makes it more clear where you can go and where you can't go

Huge fan of retro platformers like this!

Love the visuals. Gameplay is also really nice and challenging

Having a weapon to shoot and a giant sword held by the tail is actually a really nice idea :D
