I have built TIC-80 Pro Version from the newest source code from github ( not nighty build ). Then i drag a tic file in it and run it. But when i press ESC during the game running, the code editor appears, the game aborts and i can't see the ESC menu. So i can't setup gamepad and adjust other things.If i drag a tic file in the normal version of TIC-80 , run it , and press ESC , i can see and use the ESC menu to setup something.

I wonder how can i see and use the ESC menu in the Pro version built from source code from github. Or is there any other way to setup gamepad, volume, etc ?

try this command, it may work :

folder

according to this page ( https://github.com/nesbox/TIC-80/wiki/Console ), running this command will open working directory in OS.

when i run this command on my windows pc, i can find the tic files there
