Yeah i tried uninstall too lol. What if it just leaved the last profile running on exit rather than trying to reset?
I understand noone or not many care about this by the way. Its not worth a lot of your time.
Thanks. The problem is that i dont like the delay after exiting an app
1. Disabling horizon makes an error message pop up about how that is not available because it is blocked by your organisation
2. Setting qgo to launch on app exit actually takes longer because it loads horizon then qgo
i havent tried uninstall.. im guessing it will do the error like disabling though?
Is level 7 getting into the realm of overclocking? The whole thing so far has just been tweaking within the normal operating parameters. A big selling point to the naysayers has been, "It cant damage your device because its just doing what its supposed to do but better". Overclocking is a different story though imo. What do you think
"I think people don't care about level"
You could be correct. Also I think so could i. A lot of people using QGO are full on tinkerers and those ones like the numbers. You writing that like that makes me think it would be even better like:
Very High (Level 5: 599 Mhz)
Can you have tooltips in the app? that would be ok too.
None of this is necessary, im just chatting about an idea.
Thanks mate. Appreciate the help.
I have one related suggestion. Make some click boxes in settings or the top bar to set the various clocks. Usage would be for example I set level 7 for a game then come back to home screen I dont want level 7 anymore.
As for the naming. I think simple might be ok.
I see you have a screenshot with low medium high very high insane. you could use that and just put the level next to it.
e.g (with possible thought on toggles)
Very High (Lvl 5) [Click here to set now]
Extreme (Lvl 6) [Click here to set now]
Insane (Level 7) [Click here to set now]
Anyway you are a great dev, thanks for spending the time to answer all the questions and most importantly making the app
Thanks. Then "dynamic" is different from the out of the box default setting? Because a fresh install the GPU goes to 599 all the time. In the home screen when looking in the mirror, in AC in the main title screen, basically as soon as the GPU usage goes above .. i think 80 or 85 it goes to 599.
Do you know what the command is for the default behavior? I would like to be able to enter that via adb when the headset "breaks" and dynamic doesnt work properly anymore and stops at 545.
Thanks
Re the "unlocked" it doesnt matter at all it just doesnt make much sense in english.
Thanks, then that is poorly named. 'Unlocked' shouldnt mean 'Locked'
But, that isnt my issue.
Something breaks dynamic mode and I am trying t figure out if its QGO. I cant see what else it would be which i why i ask the expert.
With a factory reset device, the headset automatically adjusts the GPU freq from 350 ish all the way to 599mhz. Some time later after install and use QGO dynamic mode breaks and will only adjust to a maximum of 545mhz.
I dont know what else I am doing to make this happen other than using qgo.
Hi, I have 2 quest 3's On one of them with GPU set to dynamic it will go to 599Mhz when required on the other it only goes to 545Mhz even when the fps is tanking to 45fps or less. I test in game and on home screen by increasing resolution to 200%. If i use "unlocked" then the "broken" one will go to 599 but will never drop back down.
Anything you can think of regarding this would be much appreciated
Love it. 1 suggestion or request. Put some more work into the launcher. Get it up to the level of lightning launcher so it can replace that and be an all in one. Its not much i dont think, just a few tweaks here or there, opening speed, icon layout, sorting, folders and groups .. maybe its a bit actually. Still, thats my thought for an improvement.
Thanks
