Baww this is such a lovely cute lil game and concept! <3 I loved the floppy pillow flumping around, and the kind of dual mechanics was a really cool approach

I wonder if this was developed further you could have little 'dream' artwork poofing out of the clouds when you catch them - like tiny vignettes of what the dreamer's seeing, rainbows and unicorns and stuff!

Aw thank you, it's really lovely to hear such nice feedback! I don't know if our narrative designer might be inspired to add more narrative in future - we aimed for a fairly short and sweet story for the jam itself :)

Really incredible, I'm so impressed! You made this whole thing for the jam?!
The interface/interactions are so smooth, the environment and models are great, the voice acting brilliant, the narrative and level design great (especially that first room, leading you through the way the puzzles work. My only *tiny* gripe is that it's very dark and shadowy, makes it a bit grungey - but then again, that gives it a kind of half life vibe...

I suspect you'll get fewer plays cause it's a download only, which sucks because you deserve to do really well - I hope folks bother to do those extra steps and give it a go

I think it was just that when I first loaded it, the controls weren't making the frog move? Or place spawners? I could get arrows, but that was all - might have just been a weird one-off because it worked fine on the main game after that

Oh shucks! Sounds like we missed the main event - that's a shame, but I still enjoyed it :)

We sort had the view that collecting 1000 of anything would be way too long a game, so we went for the approach that narratively you don't need to collect them all, just do your bit! And the vastness of the task is kind of relevant? But yeah, we're hearing lots of feedback that the gameplay is a bit difficult - something to learn :) Thank you for playing and giving feedback!

Really cute aesthetic, lovely colour schemes and nice game world - I liked the range of items and different areas. I feel like the gameplay might want a bit of work - 1000 seconds is a long time to wait! I'd be surprised if anyone played it for the full 16 minutes.

I feel like this could be a cool puzzle game! It's just not quite there yet - the paper is too big/made of too many pieces (and most of them are just squares, so not very interesting), and the fact that they lock in place when you get them right means you just win by clicking everything a few times until it locks. The characters were fun and artwork pretty cool though!

It's a pretty cool concept and impressive to have figured out the level design! Although it felt a bit like there was not quite enough leeway for learning/making mistakes - felt like there was one route that *just* got you to the next upgrade and had no room for error. Which meant a lot of frustrating re-starting!

The jam is rated! The community rates it - the judges just paused the ratings while they check the games and remove rule-breakers.
It's a shame you didn't hear about the theme though :/

I love the premise, although I wasn't very good at it... It was a bit frustrating that the nemesis kept climbing while I was talking to the interactable characters, meant that either I was setting myself up to lose or I was missing out on story!

I found the intro conversation a bit slow, would have liked a click-through button to speed it up. Or a skip button for future playthroughs.

Also a weird thing happened the first time, when I got to the end of the intro, I don't know if I clicked something wrong but it kinda whizzed through the tutorial and sent me flying off the right hand side of the screen, and I couldn't do anything from there...

But I reloaded and it seemed to work second time round (I was patient and didn't click anything that time!)

Try clicking the fullscreen icon in the bottom right? That's how I managed to get around it. But I agree - might be good if they changed it from 1980*1080 to say 1280*720 or something else, same ratio but smaller

I love your name/logo and I feel like the premise for this is really cool and unique! It's just.... damn hard XD Maybe a bit of a tutorial might help to figure out how to play - I had a few 'game overs' before I worked out you have to grab and move each end of the line.

Pretty cool premise and you've obviously put a lot of work into storytelling and mapping out the routes/planets and stuff! I feel like it could do with a bit of work in terms of the visuals - the UI and screen layout could be clearer, it wasn't obvious what was happening when the fights were taking place, took me a bit of time to figure out how to win them. But good work on the mechanics :)

Really cute little game, with a nice chill aesthetic and theme! I wasn't great at it - found the platforms disintegrated too quickly for me, and it ended up being a bit frustrating, but that's probably my skill level being too low XD

Really lovely artwork and character designs! And very impressive scope given the short jam. I really appreciate the pronoun options and ability to choose your own name or opt for a given one if you're not creative enough

So I'm intrigued by the plot and want to be able to play it through! But I think it's glitching in an un-intentional way XD I pressed shift at the wrong time, launched myself into space and fell into nothingness... was that supposed to happen?

Also, I found the camera control didn't work unless I was on fullscreen - just if anyone else is having issues with that, give fullscreen a try

I love the deeply sinister feel of yours. The narration/tanoy instructions were great, gave me portal vibes, and the 'bad ducks' were just... horrifying. 'What SCP is this?' 

Honestly this was great. I don't know if I was missing something though, I played for a while and accidentally let a lot of bad ducks through, but nothing seemed to happen as a result. Maybe I got impatient? Don't get me wrong, the anticipation was creepy enough, but I just wanna know if I missed out on something!

Genuinely, really impressed with what you've achieved - I can really get the subtle atmosphere, the uneasiness and uncertainty of 'what will I need to hide from, why might the lights stop working?' really worked.

I think y'all should be really proud of this actually - it's a shame other folks had a bad experience but I loved it XD

I like the concept of the roots spreading, and your lil character animations were cute! Although hoo boy do I have RSI now XD

I love the character designs! And a really fun story - nice one. Minor comments - the font is a bit illegible, some of the text was clipped off, and a prompt to press 'space' to progress dialogue might be nice - I thought the game had frozen for ages until I refreshed and went to the 'controls' XD 

Nice one! I liked the intro voiceover and sounds :D felt a bit odd having such a different artstyle for the monsters and the main character - but I liked the fun cartoony vibe!

Really impressive! Definitely got that nostalgic feeling. The controls were a bit different to the ones on your homescreen, and I found it hard to read the intro text, but they're minor things

Cute, and really impressive work! I found it a bit frustrating that 'place' was mouse click the same as 'shoot' - I kept trying to shoot something before I was ready to place my turret and it placed it instead XD 

I wish there was an 'art' rating because this art is beautiful, really lovely use of a cohesive colour scheme
