As I've said above, due to the current ongoing and evolving situation with itchio and payment processors, the bundle project has been put on hold for now until the situation is resolved, please rest assured that I want to make this bundle happen and will do so as soon as possible once it is possible for me to do so but it is taking a lot of reorganizing and reaching out to creators to figure out how many people were affected and how to make this bundle as successful as it can be within the current circumstances.

Hello, as per how itchio charity bundles work, I will be reaching out to cancer research charities with the bundle offer, and once we have one confirmed I will be creating the official bundle, any news about that will be posted on this page! You will be invited to the bundle if your submission is accepted - expect this process to possibly take at least a month as we have to get everyone on board and everything set up! A novella isn't a twine game, a novella is only made up of text without any other elements similar to traditional book form, it's essentially a book between 17,500 - 40.000 words so this does not include visual novels or interactive stories. As much as I personally love the interactive story medium, it would be unfair to other participants to allow them in this jam since it is for novellas exclusively and not games. However, if you feel as though your story works as a novella and you want to reformat it as a novella, you are welcome to  - there is also still some time before the deadline, so if you'd like to write a new novella with us, we do daily sprints in our Discord server! Don't hesitate to ask if you have any more questions, always happy to help and thank you for your interest!

I'm sorry but it doesn't count, as mentioned in the rules of the jam this is a novella writing event, so we write novellas together and then share those novellas that were written specifically during the event!

But, I am also hosting a charity bundle where all formats are allowed, if this sounds like it could interest you, submissions are open here!

As per the itchio charity bundle guidelines, we reach out to the charities we have in mind after all the submissions are collected with the bundle offer to the charity - so although I have a charity in mind, since submissions are still ongoing I can't publicly tie their name to this bundle as they need to confirm their participation first.

However, as I've stated on social media, if you do want me to tell you who I am planning on asking privately I am more than happy to do so if you DM me!

I would also like to confirm that the chosen charity will have a track record of contributing to cancer research and discloses where their funds are used, regardless of the charity that ends up partnering with us for this bundle, I want to make sure the money will be go to a reputable charity.
