Hello game dve.  I figured out how to delete the in-game checkpoint and start fresh.  Unlike what the article states, there is no path to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Unity\UnityEditor.  At least on my windows 10 pro.  What you need to do is remove the registry folder:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\ViksyProductions.  Then exit the registry and start up the game.  The player prefs must be stored in that key.  Of course save your registry before making any changes :)  Hope this helps someone down the road and made you aware.  Thank you again for taking your time to respond.

I have a lot of videos uploaded to my YouTube horror channel, so it'll take a bit before your game is published, but I will be back to post it when that time comes.  It was a very fun game and it was optimized very well.  Feel free to stop by any time if you are in the mood for a spooky indie horror game.  You can find my channel here:

Take care!

Thank you for the information, but all I have in that registry area is:  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Unity\UnityStandalone as the only folder.  I am using windows 10 pro.  I will keep looking through the registry and see if it placed it elsewhere.

Hello Dev!  I want to play a fresh game, but there seems to be a checkpoint system.  Can you tell me where the save files are located?  Thanks!

Thanks for making!

I just wanted to say thank you for allowing me to play your game.  I had a lot of fun. and enjoyed myself very much.  I've published my LP on my channel, if you are ever interested.  Thanks again and keep up the great work.

Sorry I just saw your reply.  Appreciate the view and yes, the audio interface is pretty nice for mixing and plugging all your hardware into one device for editing.

My Co-host and I had a ton of fun with this game, tyvm for allowing us to play it.  Can't wait to see your next game.

Thanks for letting me play your game good sir, as always.

Thank you very much for allowing me to play this awesome, spooky game good sir.  Best of luck to you.

Loved your game good sir, please keep up the good work.  Here is a link to the LP I did on my channel.  Thanks again.

I really enjoyed playing your game for my YouTube channel.  It was a lot of fun and pretty spooky.  Thanks for letting me play your game.

I'd like to buy this, but I cannot justify $10 for such a small game.

Confirmed, if you play on MS Edge, the game does not have the bug, but Firefox browser seemed to show it.  I was able to enjoy the full game, hope this helps.  Thanks for the great spooks, now I can record for my channel.  Take care.

Sounds good.  I will give it a try in another browser and let you know the results.  Thank you for your time.

No problem at all.  I really want to record this for my youtube channel, that's why I wanted to finish it.  I am a big fan of the point and click style horror games.  I like what you did with this one and really neat how you made it a web game, instead of a DL.  I haven't tried a different browser and if you think that will do the trick, I would be happy to give it a try in Chrome or Edge.

I use the Firefox web browser and my pc has an Intel 10900k, 32GB of ram and using an Nvidia RTX 3080 FE graphics card.  I play the game in full screen mode and running all the latest windows 10 updates.  If you need any other info, do not hesitate to ask.

Hello there.  After I get the tool from under the hand creature, the game stays on a black screen.  i tried this twice and it stops in the same spot.  Are you aware of any updates we need to finish this game properly?  Thank you for your time.

ah, sounds good.  I will do this, as it is a pc I freshly installed windows on recently, so that makes sense.  Thank you for your time.

Hello there.  I was looking to play this game on my youtube channel, "balimoreblindgaming" where I do a lot of indie horror games.  When kicking off the .exe file, I get an error that it is missing the MSVCP100.dll and the message comes up twice.  Not sure if this is in your radar or not, but wanted to let you know.  I re-downloaded it just to be safe and got the same issue.  Thank you for your time.

Thank you again for your very quick response and hard work.  I was able to play the game and run at my ultra-wide resolution and refresh rate.  Enjoy the rest of your day, take care.

Oh, wow that was quick, I did not expect a response so fast.  I appreciate you looking into it.  Even though I change my monitor resolution from 3440x1440 to 1920x1080, i did not try putting in a standard 16:9 display to see if somehow the issue goes away.  I did try changing into various scaling methods as well, but scratching my head on this :)  I am looking to play this on my youtube channel, "balimoreblindgaming".  I do mostly horror LP's and was told this would be worth playing.  Thank you for your time.

I am unfortunately unable to launch your game.  I use an ultra-wide monitor, I have even set the resolution to 1920x1080, but when the intro screen comes on with the story text in the start of the game, it completely cuts off the big button at the bottom that you click on to proceed, so that is where I have to stop.  Hopefully it gets worked out soon, I'll keep messing around with it, but if you happen to know of how to resolve this, it would be much appreciated.  Thank you for your time.

Tested your game out and the optimization is great, I am very impressed, to think you just started with dev work.  I would suggest you really continue on with this prototype, it's impressive.  I tested almost 20 games for my channel today and this was one of the few that ran like butter.  My hat goes off to you, thanks for allowing me to play.  I know it's probably ok, but would I have permission to play this and The Book on my channel?  Have a good one.

Mr. Horror, you sneaky son of a gun, I didn't know you already had another game in a playable must be a machine.  I will give this a try and play it on my channel.  The is balimoreblindgaming just so you know what youtube channel commented on this.  Have a good day sir.
