Thank you; am really glad the mood of the adventure works for you!

And thank you for this note, truly. Having worked on this for ages, I've got designer's myopia, now -- I can no longer tell which bits might confuse folks newly encountering the adventure!

Dee Wee Shree is a psychic with the power to puppet water. (He is using a remote-control puppet made of lake water to seduce the bamboo cutter Iba.)

I need to tweak the language in this adventure, so that is clearer!

Dee Wee Shree and Odoyoq are not the same character. (The detail about villagers misremembering Odoyoq as an ogre refers to some backstory text that isn't part of this Preview PDF.) (Dee Wee Shree is using local folklore to his own advantage.)

Again: thank you so much for this feedback!

I would love to see that happen but to be honest...I haven't played really RPGs in years.
My deep social anxiety + being super busy(fostering animals + drawing) has kept me away from it.  :(
Zedeck still does though, and I really like to spectate/watch vids. I remember watching your first game!

Wahh.  Much love. I'm curious how it all comes together in the end.

Hi there:

Yes, print versions are available by emailing zedecksiew at gmail dot com!

A THOUSAND THOUSAND ISLANDS is a series of fantasy settings, designed for use with tabletop RPGs, inspired by the material cultures, lived stories, and mythistories of Southeast Asia.

MR-KR-GR, a river kingdom ruled by crocodiles, built on the bones of a previous world;
KRACHING, a valley where all felines are scared, and most timber haunted;
HANTU!, a collection of short essays and prose about the fearsome Malaysian hantu; and
DRAWINGS PART ONE, an art zine filled with character art and inspiration tableaux

are available for the first time in PDF format, alongside two brand new zines:

UPPER HELENG, a time-warped forest, where the seasons roam as animal gods; and
ANDJANG, a mountain kingdom where crops never fail, farmers are thin, and royals smile with fanged teeth.

Ongoing since 2017, A THOUSAND THOUSAND ISLANDS zines sketch worlds through detailed, meticulously-researched black-and-white line art (by visual artist Mun Kao), and evocative prose plus system-neutral hooks, NPCs, and random tables (by writer Zedeck Siew) -- accelerants to set the imaginations of GMs and players afire.
