You're how I found out about this jam! I played Shadow Block earlier and liked your Facebook page, then got notification of this jam by your page. So, thanks! Anyway, your game. I like how you basically have a regular gun, a shotgun, and a chain gun in one convenient package. However, the enemies are so tiny that's it a chore to land any of your dinky shots on them. So, I'd make the enemies larger. I also really like the music for this one too.

The music reminds me of the Pink Panther theme song. I bet it's the smooth jazz. I really liked the mechanics of the game, having the switch different guns to kill different enemies. My one issue is that for white pistol with an attack range of 1, it sometimes kills the white ghosts and sometimes doesn't, resulting in a death. I'm not sure if it's something I'm not doing right or if it's a glitch. But, I'd work on making that a little more clear.

Huh. This brings back memories of a particular flash game everyone played on their school laptops back in middle school.  I do not like having to do the whole thing over again if I fail late in the game. Make the reset option only apply for the level you messed up and have a separate option to restart the whole thing.  I also took a while to figure out the whole "press down to make yourself bounce higher thing". That probably should be posted more clearly on the third level where it's required to progress. The graphics, while simplistic, would probably look better with some kind of visual flair or some kind of artistic theme. I dunno, make one up! I say, work on these things and make an HTML5 version to put on browsers.

This game is like Krycob but with combat. It's a cool idea, but I think the execution should've been better. What's the point of a healthbar if the recovery time after being hit is so short every hit might as well be an instakill? The controls are also kinda stiff. Work on those and I think this has some potential.

Saving the forest in this game is like me trying to keep my life together. This is another great game from this jam with great usage of the dual action theme. The music is a bit calm for the fast-paced gameplay, though.

So I take it he sucks blood like Lord Dio from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (using fingers).  It was kinda difficult to get the hang of the controls, but I was able to figure things out after a few deaths. The music is really somber, which is good for atmosphere, but it doesn't quite harmonize with the fast-paced gameplay that's intended.

(Edited 1 time)

This has to be one of my favorites this jam has to offer! Everything's done right. It can be so much fun getting combos.  It reminds me a lot of Spacebomb and Superflail. The termination condition's minigame is also really neat as I have a chance to redeem myself if I mess up. The music is awesome, too! You and I both have a calmer version of the main song used for the title screen. Awesome game!

I've seen this done a few times already, but I do like to see what can be done with the mechanic. I really like the music used for this game, "Near and Far". I preferred using WASD for my controls, but going through the door was only coded for the Arrows/Space movement keys without input from W. Neat game, nonetheless.

This game kinda reminds me of some of my old Roblox games where there's stuff that chases you and you gotta defend yourself before you get overwhelmed. The music is smooth which kinda doesn't fit the gameplay. Still, I was pretty addicted to this one.

I like the ability to grab stuff and use the enemies' own weapons against them, but I think it should be done better. The turrets are nearly impossible to destroy as their lasers fire twice as fast as you fire back, leading to countless cheap deaths.  The red KKK members are easier, but I'd kinda wish your telekinetic shield would launch them if they wound up  in your orb.The level graphics should show a little more life, too. I'd also work on a more creative name for the game too. How about "Master Chief's Magical Crusade Against Racism"?

An interesting idea with an emotional output. The atmosphere was really good too as the galaxy pattern and the music mesh well.  I'd make the graphics further harmonize with those two. I really liked the idea of using the dragging to get the chick to jump.  I kinda wish there were more levels like that before all of a sudden brick-walling me with a tight puzzle block room.

What kind of country has knights and ninjas!? It'd make more sense to have samurais instead of nights. The dash mechanic was pretty cool. The reload time was kinda annoying though, as it would sometimes let me dash when still reloading and sometimes not. I'd remove the reload time and design the levels in a way to prevent the player from dashing through it all in one sitting. The music was kinda annoying though, as it lacks any kind of structure. I'd advise learning music theory and experiment using Garageband or FL Studio.

Hey look, it's the alternating panel puzzles from my old games! Looks like somebody was a fan of the Alexander High series. The title picture's so colorful and detailed while the in-game aesthetics were kinda bland. If you decide to finish this after the game, I'd work on that. The player also jumps when I hit the ground with the jump button still pressed. It's a good thing to have in most platform games, but in a game where the timing of your jumps are crucial, you'd rather not have that ability.

A nice twist on the bullet hell genre! I don't get why you named it "CTRL X" though, as there's no cutting anything. Given that it can't go into fullscreen, my mouse often leaves the window causing it to lose focus and resulting in a death. The high score system is a bit inconsistent as I got up to 55 one round and 33 in the next. It says my high score is 33 even after just getting a higher score the previous round. You should tweak these things and port it to mobile!

Pretty dashing game! The art style's really neat with the use of only black, white, and of course red. The dash mechanic was a neat idea, but the dash sometimes didn't work for some reason. I'd also work on your writing and grammar, as the opening text could use some characterization for immersion.

Blocky Warrior? What is that? A minecraft youtuber? Nah, I'm just teasing. It's a nifty idea you got there, but the enemies have so much health that using up your health is a waste of time. I find it easier to dodge their projectiles and slowly move towards them. They'll end up backing into the edge and falling off the platform. When I let go of the joystick, the player flicks back to the starting direction, and that's quite annoying. But, I bet you can add some more depth to the game.

I can't really qualify this as a game since it has no rules or goals, as it fits the criteria more a toy. But still, this toy kept me occupied for like thirty minutes. I believe you meant this as a relaxation tool, and boy did it work!

I have no idea how to play this. Like, I get the general idea of opening the gate, but getting certain panels to be a certain color is all a matter of guesswork. There's no clear instructions at the beginning. I'd simplify the mechanics to make it so anyone could figure it out. But, I do like where this is going.

I was at the mall with my mother today getting clothes for the upcoming school year. Of course, I gotta return to college looking my best because there could be a whole swarm of cute nerdy girls just begging for a piece of crap like me. We go to Hot Topic because, let’s face it, it’s the best place to get video game/anime apparel besides perhaps FYE. I find an Attack on Titan and a Super Mario Bros shirt I like. We’re about to pay when I spot a blue Kingdom Hearts cap hanging so high I can’t even reach it. I spend a good five minutes convincing my mom that it was completely necessary that I get it. Like most mothers, she had no idea what Kingdom Hearts even was.

We then have the cashier girl go get it down. She used a long pole with a hook on the end to get it down. We ring it up and it cost $20, which was quite expensive for a hat. I then reassure my hesitant mother that it’s very important that I have this hat. She caves and I immediately put it on after paying.

After that, we leave the mall. We’re at the door and we see a couple HOT girls approaching. Like, they were good looking! Being a gentleman, I held the door open for them. They pass by and look right at the hat. They both go, “I LOVE YOUR HAT!!! <3” My mother was just standing there completely dumbfounded.

See, when I want something, there's a pretty good reason.
