Well... you got some nice player/enemies models and the game looks nice at first but the game experience is really not here....
- the control don't work with the keyboard... (only with an xbox controler but still need a mouse to use the menu...)
- the enemies can be too damn close to the bottom so we can only play on the very bottom of the screen, below the health bar (the 2 dimension movement are useless)
- the boss destroyed my ears... and he get the player feel useless (the boss can shot in any direction, with multi-shot and moves randomly very fast...)
I beat the game by standing still at the bottom while holding 'A' ... (not amazing but it was safer)
Not very fun
I couldn't enjoy my victory because the game crashed after my win :'(
I love that enemies aim at us in game, it can be a bit hard but there is tension that keep us focus.
Big negative point for me is yellow dots (stars ?) in the background. I thought that was some bombs since it looks like the red dots from the enemies, there is no feedback when getting hurt and the stars come after the game starts...
Damn, during my first game, I was dodging the red dots and the yellow dots x)
Great design !!! it got the feedback sound too when getting damage or upgrades. The UI in game is great and clear.
Negatives points :
- the gameplay depends too much on upgrades, especially multi-shot upgrade (It's op lol; 1st no orange upgrade = too many enemies at one, quite hard / 2nd game = 1 orange upgrade, the game became too easy but it was fun)
- too short (with upgrade lol)
- no "exit" button in the main menu and end screens break the immersion (and it's a bit cringe...)
Fun game and great design. 9/10
