I have tried playing this game and due to many horror gamers and YouTubers liking it, I really want to like it too.... but I just can't.

When I played it (or tried playing it), the atmosphere was ok-ish but wasn't unsettling much for me and I walked about for literally 2 hours and I kept seeing the same scenes over and over again. I got very bored and uninstalled the game. The walking is incredibly slow and if there was running involved, I may like the game more but since there isn't, I can't like it.

I know I am like the 1% who dislike it (because most horror gamers love it) but these are the reasons why I tried to play it but nothing in this game made me want to continue playing it.

I also understand that this comment may mean absolutely nothing to anyone, but I just thought I'd get my criticism out there.

In conclusion, the game just feels too slow paced for me and most horror games I play have a balance pace or atmosphere and this one I felt had very slow pace in both.

I am not saying your game is bad because clearly it's quite the opposite. I just hope that a future game of yours takes my interest and I can actually enjoy it.

Even though I played this game as part of my 3 Random Games video, I fully recorded everything that this game has to offer in this recording right here:

I think you're the person who commented on my video asking me to play this? Well, I have now in this 3 Random Games video! It's the 2nd game I play. I gotta say that the presentation on this game is great and the gameplay is good as well. I like the mechanics and the problem solving because it makes me use my head XD so it's a good thing! XDD

Played this in my 3 Random Games video, first game actually, and I gotta say....... this is pretty good! It just goes to show that you don't need a lot to make a creepy atmospherical game and this proves it!

Played this in a 3 Random Games video and you have blown me away! I genuinely felt frightened by the feel of this game and I loved it! If there is more to the game, please let me know so I can play more. If not, this was a damn good example of a creepy "online" game with atmosphere!

Game starts at 12:30 (but you can watch the whole video, if you want)

Here is my recent video on this pretty cool demo. Only problem is the connection between the combat and the enemy because they just DON'T EVER DIE! You'll see what I mean lol

Even though I technically *tried* to play this game before, it still scared me and I still think this is a well-made game!

Your game was the 3rd game I played in this video. The idea of what happens later in the game amazed me! I got surprised by the abrupt ending but the main part was pretty cool.

Your game was the 2nd game I played in this video I recently created. The only problem I have with it is the code didn't work for the computer password and I am not sure. But, nevertheless, here's the video

Your game was the first game I played in this video, and I loved it!

Hey there, I am not sure if you're still active on this platform but I just recently played your game for Halloween lol and I gotta say.... it was a real treat

This game was pretty awesome and funny. It mostly reminded me of Doki Doki Literature Club but only because that game made a big impact on me and it was made ALSO with Ren'Py. I am not sure if I will play this game again but I am glad I gave it a try!

I liked the graphics and how "photo-realistic" the game looks but I got stuck in the train and didn't know how to progress.... if I could progress, that is.

It's the 3rd game I play.

I liked the idea of the power to see into the Otherworld but what I found really annoying is the passcode part because I just couldn't find/figure out what it could be. I tried following the hints but no dice.

Made a whole video dedicated to this type of game.

You'll see my opinions on the games in the description of my video

This game actually scared me..... and THAT'S A GREAT THING!

Unable to play these games because the archive is corrupted. I don't get why the end part is .zip.001 because I can't even open up the zip file. Also, I have 2 files for Windows and I don't even know which one is which.

I heard great things about this game through your twitter and thought I'd try it out.... I am glad I did.

In this video, I play it and it's the third game.

Played this game in a 3 horror games video for October/Halloween and the ending was quick and confusing but there is good atmosphere.

Fantastic game, managed to literally put me on edge and not many horror games are able to do that nowadays!

Here's my video! (I also happen to play your first version which was released about 5 years ago lol and I play Haversine's version too)

Hi, I don't know if anyone is active on this page anymore but I have finally decided to play this game and I am very glad that I did. Since it's the same layout each time you go through, it can get a little tedious but then when the horrors lurk.... they do leave you on edge.

Here's my nice little video on this game, though I might play it again soon.

Thanks for the reply dude but.... the end of that message wasn't really necessary lol

Here's my recent video of this game. Not much of a fan of how the menu is laid out but it's been awhile lol.

Thanks for the reply. I will patiently wait for updates on this game to see if the performance can increase for my system. One question although, why do you allow access to options in-game but not in-menu? Because I had to play the game, in order to visit the options menu as it was locked in the menu part.

Hi there, I recently downloaded your game to hopefully record a video on but I wasn't able to because the game is heavily graphically demanding as I put everything on low and the game still had at least 1-3 fps. My PC can play games on low, usually, which means your game is un-optimised. I am still pretty excited to play the game but I am unable to if the framerate can't reach at lease 10-20 fps.

Also, yes.... you could consider my PC a potato PC lol

Here's my last video on this game until the full game comes out. Just wanted to say that the leakage is a bit of a waste because the leakage only slows down the player and should slow down everyone else. I am guessing the fog disrupts baldi's and the principle's vision of where I am? I do like the clock feature of putting a timer on the random events. The conveyor... belt? (Is that what it's called?) The conveyor belt doesn't slow down Baldi one bit and it should slow him down just a bit but not too much.

Here's my video anyway:

(1 edit)

I am glad that this game has come back into the public with a brand new demo, I had SUCH a blast with this new build! I am coming out with a new video on this tomorrow as well, so I share that here too lol

I played this game throughout my 3 Random Games video and I like the fact it's pixelated but it's too pixelated IMO. Games like I SEE YOU or IMSCARED are perfect examples of pixelated horror and this one kinda went a bit too far. With some people, when you give them a load of instructions before throwing them into the game, they tend to forget what they read but some people don't.

Here's my video:  (ignore the title, blame 2019 for the fact that 3 Random Games isn't in the title lol)

I had to put that in the title because I couldn't think of what else to put in the title. I played this game as part of my 3 Random Games series and I do like how the game is but I didn't understand the point of the game. Probably because I completely forgot that this is a creepypasta type game and the feeling of being lost. I didn't have any feeling of being lost because I didn't feel immersed at all.

But here's the video anyway: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mk7LgQcoQjo

Just like your other game (make sure it's closed), these gameplay ideas and mechanics and scenery just make your games so unique to other ones and I love that! I felt constant paranoia when playing this one LOL, so good job on that one!

Here's my video (the last game I play, which is the 4th game lol, even though it's THREE random games........ so yeah)

This game was short, simple, creepy, unexpected and just overall great! Very unique gameplay and the game just reminds me of the terrifying factor of FNAF 1 because you are just sitting (or in this case, standing), you can't move at all and your only defense mechanism is the garage door..... LOVE IT!

Here's my video (3rd game I play)

Very neat idea for a game, having ducks chase you. This game would be great for someone who has a fear of ducks..... who I don't know is currently XD

This is kinda like a slender clone, which makes it easier to know what you're doing if you've played slender. The ducks are creepy but not scary and I know the aim of the game is not to be scary. I would ask for a graphics option but you'd told someone else that you would only do that, if you decided to continue on with the game.

Here's my video on this game and since it's a 3 Random Games video, your game is the first game I play

Even if I didn't enjoy the game, I can't hate the developers :)

I do, in fact, enjoy the phone display UI because I love games that feature a phone because it reflects social media and everyone uses a phone so it's a cool addition.

This game was SUPER COOL! I love Point-and-Click horror adventure games and this one hit the spot. Especially with the music used, I legit felt uncomfortable playing lol. Super well done!

This game confused me so much that it broke and resulted in me moving to another game lol.

I had no idea what I was doing (probably should've read description but I go in completely blind lol) but I enjoyed the conversations I read on the phone XD

This game is the last game I played and I gotta say... I did get a little bored and disappointed with this game.

I did, although, see your conversation with someone with similar opinion about this game and understand why this game is like it. I do, in fact, not enjoy mazes because it's annoying and tedious. Which is why I did not play the whole thing.

This game gave me much Silent Hill vibes! If that's not the direction you took the game, it still gave me them vibes. (First game I play and top video)

Hey there. So, I am not sure if you have seen me around before because I have played this game before and I am pretty sure I shared that video on GameJolt. Well, since it's now on Itch.io, I thought I'd give the game another go and turns out.... it was quite the experience I wasn't expecting lol! I certainly enjoyed it and can't wait for the 2nd chapter!!

I have probably played one of the older versions of the game, I am not sure. I have recently played this in a 3 Random Games because other YouTubers were playing it and I wanted to find out why.... and I now found out why..... because it's kinda like a Granny game ish.... well.... to me at least. You have to escape him and avoid him but he's really fast and his jumpscare ANNIHILATES YOU.

For me, the game is ok and the way the game plays and sounds is pretty neat. It feels scripted, though, when you go down that hallway and then he.... maybe... hears you? I dunno. What I do know is.... I got jumpscared pretty good lol.

Here is part 2 of my playthrough of The Glass Staircase. It actually got more terrifying! Not really as terrifying as your other games but it's still pretty terrifying!

Not much of a fan of the whole gameplay, especially the rifle aim. I know you've already patched it but it's still a bit of a problem lol
