Yes, that's accurate. I just wanted to point out that's my mistake. It's actually always been that way to add extra benefit to being a Patron. Without the consistent support there it would be much harder for me to make games.
However - there are also some benefits to the paid version here as well. For example, you gain bonus amounts on the various resources that you collect (like money).

1) Infinite money.
2) Increase your attributes freely.
3) Discount for all stores.
