I've been playing a good amount of adult visual novels recently, and I can say after played some of the best rated and most played ones that this is those little VN's that doesn't use the default assets or even other VN's characters. It's a real game so to speak, the lighting, the camera, animations and aesthetics are top for this kind of games. Just try it and see for yourself.
