I like the new style a lot! I think some of the criticisms are valid, like certain characters suddenly becoming more or less bulky. Torulf becoming ripped, Jorgen becoming a bit more defined and Rune and Devon's faces becoming softer, to name a few examples. I think everyone will get used to a characterization change with time, as the art is very good. But, if the goal is to 1:1 replicate the feeling of the old sprites in a new style, they aren't quite there yet in my opinion.
