Lovely game. Thankful that I get to read it. This is also my first time knowing that Aeran is not an LL 😱. The possibilities of what will happen to him... Thinking of the implications makes me a bit sad. Well, it's part of the story.

I just tried to reload a "Save to Disk" Save and... figured it doesn't work like I thought it would.
Maybe you could rephrase that button to "Alternate Safe" or "Manual Safe"? At the moment it totally seems like a backup option of the 6 save slots above.
And I just lost all of my progress because of that. ._.' That's over 60hrs playtime and 3 OCs lost. Now I'm really sad. I really wanted to try out diffrent story lines but I will not replay everything from the start.
I'm sorry you lost your saves. Unfortunately the name can't be changed as it's part of the engine and isn't editable. It's a core part of how SugarCube functions and all Twine SugarCube games work like this. Browser saves and Save to Disk saves are separate entities; as outlined in the Troubleshooting Game Launch & Save Errors guide, Save to Disk only saves your current session on the passage you are currently on. If you are backing up browser saves, you need to load each save and save them individually, it cannot be done en masse.
Thank you for the reply. I didn't know about the problem the engine. Maybe you could add the info about how the saves work in the tutorial? At the start of the game when the save functions are pointed out maybe? I found a lot of other players with the same issue and maybe that problem could be easily prevented somehow. Thank you for this really nice experience, I did enjoy spending time with "Wayfarer" alot. :)
everyone’s complaining about aeran possibly not being a love interest and here i am knowing my fave will never even have the slightest chance at being one… Sabien Quirinus c’mere i’ll switch sides for you <3 the mc’s interactions with him are few and far between but i thoroughly enjoyed every word of it
So
yk how there's a part that goes like this:
"You frown. There’s something overly keen about him. Maybe it’s the eagerness in his eyes or the pleasant smile, but the way he looks at you is a little unnerving. He wants something from you—but you can’t fathom what."
There's supposedly two options, but one says the conditional story rquirements are not met. Im kinda curious about it, what are the requirements for it?
